Pedersen was ridiculous and completely bush league and unprofessional.   Rider fans should be thrilled that they can now have someone who isn't delusional writing and talking about the club. 

With Rod Pedersen leaving the Riders maybe they will get someone a little more level headed/fair minded.  His schtick of predicting the Bombers to miss the playoffs year after year under MOS and Walters was growing tiresome. The only joy I got was watching that prediction fail miserably, year after year.

That was one dude over there making that prediction.....that's all that guy does is talk out his azz,  if he can't handle a comment he wants you booted.... the rulk is a joke, a big fat green joke.

Sources say #Riders Head Coach Chris Jones has interviewed today with the Cleveland Browns & they are hiring him in a defensive capacity. Details to come. Jones had an NFL out clause in his #CFL contract.

Actually...Edmonton's facilities and training/therapy/players amenities/locker room are top notch world class and actually are better than many NFL teams and rival some of the top notch ones...so that statement is totally false on the Edmonton aspect.
Mosaic is sure shinier and newer, but not heads and shoulders above Edmonton...Winnipeg and B.C..Whom also have top notch player amenities..

while I certainly agree with you that Vancouver and Edmonton are much nicer cities than Regina... when comparing football stadiums... Sask blows those other two out of the water...

I think that not giving the HC the ability to pick his staff is a huge red flag that had nothing to do about being right, or the smartest guy in the room.  It may have more to do with having the freedom to do what you feel is right without having upper management second guessing.  You are either in charge or you are not, and if they won't let you be in charge of hiring your own staff, what else are they going to decide for you? 

IMO, this would be a huge loss for the CFL... there are not many potential up-and-coming super star coaches in the league right now... hopefully he sticks around our league...

IMO there were more problems with our offence than the QB. Specifically, our lack of imagination and predictability really hurt. 
I also thought our o'line didn't play very well. At the end of the day, it was a defensive battle all afternoon, and a play or two going our way instead of theirs, and we win. No I'm not giving the keys to Streveler, but I most certainly want to increase his work-load, and start a transition at the QB position.

Calgary rarely rushed more than 4...against our 5....and was flushing out Nichols over and over again. So the answer for me is no, our o'line lost the trench battle no doubt.

You all thought the O-line gave Nicholls enough time to win?

It'll take a while, but the intentional head shots will stop. 
Maybe they will also use the sky camera.
This is something that has been a part of football for decades. Not long ago, these kind of hits were celebrated, and put on highlight reels.Jack Tatum etc.

I'm very glad they did this, should definitely help make players that are inclined to take head shots, stop doing it.
Anything they can do to help stop head shots, is good. Ejection is what I want to see for the worst of it.
I think it's odd that people are so critical. Very small,  way to look at it. Slow down the game?  so what.
We are talking about brain damage, who gives a crap if this slows the game down, or results in a couple of questionable penalties.
I also disagree that Ambrosie is doing a bad job. 
reffing is a problem in every single sports league in the world.  Our guys for the most part do a decent job.

Fans complain on what’s going on at field level and when the league jumps on the problem..more complaints.
So, they contact all nine teams and get feedback, and come up with an interim solution until the off season, and still it’s not enough?
I’d be more worried if the problem was ignored.
