If Franklin can figure it out Argos might not be terrible. He does have some weapons Walker, Edwards, Green, Wilder.

My mom went into the bomber store years ago to buy me a jersey and Moreno was in there.  She met him and said he was a good looking fella so she bought me his jersey.  So pretty much I got his jersey because my mom had the hots for him.

6 Intriguing Players to Watch in the Preseason for each CFL Team
    Bombers:
The Bombers have been building through quality scouting throughout the Kyle Walters era and are just now reaching their peak. That doesn’t mean their job is done however and there will be spots up for grabs in the receiving corps, defensive backfield and offensive line.
    1. Mike Jones, DB, Temple
Jones is strong in man coverage and breaks up passes with violent hands. How he adjusts to the intricacies of the CFL game remains to be seen, but he could develop into a shutdown player.
    2. John Santiago, RB, North Dakota
The back from North Dakota that everyone is excited to see is draft pick Brady Oliviera but he was part of a one-two punch. Santiago is a CFL quality back and while he’s a long shot to make the roster due to the ratio, the tape he produces might catch another team’s eye.
    3. Thiadric Hansen, LB, Kiel Balt. (GFL)
When you sleep in a bus station just so you can play for peanuts in Germany, you know you are passionate about the sport of football. Hansen is living his dream and it will be fascinating to see how his “at all costs” attitude translates on the field while trying to earn a job on special teams.
    4. Asotui Eli, OL, Hawaii
Perhaps the most talented lineman, and certainly the biggest wildcard, in the draft, Eli will be suiting up for the first time in a calendar year and winning a starting job is not out of the question. I’m excited to see how his injured knee holds up under the stress of gameplay.
    5. Rasheed Bailey, REC, Delaware Valley State
Bailey has turned a lot of heads in training camp and for good reason. He was absolutely explosive in college, blowing past defenders like they were pylons. He has bounced around a lot since college but could make a home in Winnipeg.
    6. Matt Hazel, REC, Coastal Carolina
Hazel got the attention of the Bombers at mini-camp and has maintained it early in training camp. He boxes out and high points the ball exceptionally well. With plenty of experience at various pro camps, Hazel seems committed to this latest opportunity.

These leagues are looking for a partner to grow the game. The commissioner said on Friday night that when he started talking to these leagues that they were really surprised that he asked them how the CFL could help them grow and develop. The NFL had dictated what the relationship was going to be with them to benefit of only the NFL.

My opinion on CFL 2.0. We are all here, I would assume because we think that the CFL is the most exciting brand of football right? Why would we not want for people in Mexico, Austria, German, France, Finland, ect, to think CFL when they think football. Share what we love with millions more people seems like a no brainer.

    You should read the article..
“We talk to the PA quite regularly. We can walk and chew gum. People say, ‘Randy, why aren’t you staying home and focusing on fixing Toronto?’ I say, ‘This is fixing Toronto.’ We are only going to get people who are not CFL fans to be CFL fans in a world of big sports if we change the fundamental profile of who we are. We have to re-cast ourselves in a different way. We can’t be this small, loveable Canadian Football League. We have to think bigger. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome
“My job is not to sit at my desk waiting for the phone to ring. My job is to create opportunities for this league to be more successful.”
“There are five million football fans in France and now 100 kids playing football in CGEP in Quebec, with another eight players from Europe playing U football in the province.
There are three times the number of kids playing tackle football in Mexico right now than currently registered in Canada.
Across Europe there are 32 leagues playing American football in 30 countries.
The CFL, hoping to capitalize on some of that, expects to announce a deal with a Mexican broadcaster soon – and possibly some European agreements, too – and is hoping to play at least one international game per season.”

👁‍🗨 You have to admire Randy Ambrosie for all the effort he’s putting into his job. Never have I seen a more visible Commissioner who is putting the CFL first and foremost in the public’s eyes. You may not agree with some of his ideas, but it’s way better than in the past where the Commish would come out on Groundhog Day, then disappear again for 6 weeks.

It's not hard to prove Hodge wrong.  This is the guy who said the Bombers had no cap space just before they signed Jefferson & offered a big money deal to Ellingson.

I'd respect Riderfans more if they just came clean on what exactly their relationship with the team is..but they won't.
Appendage of SSKs online presence carefully filtering and spreading team directives? or just a passionate independent  fan board ?
    Can't be both

Well, the RUMOUR is that during the hot Mike fiasco, he was talking about Reynolds. "incompetent" was about the nicest thing he mentioned. The feeling is that, under the previous management, Rod was a lot more in the loop and he was unhappy with being held at an arms length.
The real kicker was when he was gossiping about Reynolds having an affair with a junior staff member in the organization.
Again, this coming from someone who says he knows someone - so huge grain of salt.

I, for one, am disappointed in Rod Pedersen leaving. I would often listen to the sports cage out here in Saskatoon. Pedersen was fiercely loyal to the Riders and a true "homer". He wore his emotions on his sleeve. I would text him as a Bomber fan and he'd get riled up. It was always in good fun and he said so too. I appreciated his honesty with alcoholism too. I will miss him.
I wish you all the best, Rod!!

Cone of silence descends on Riderfans. Taking themselves so deathly serious is both ha-ha funny and weird funny.
Yet any similar story on any other team is fair game.
