Your stadium holds 33,000 and you only brought 27,000 to last years game. Which may I correct you was also your first playoff appearance in your new stadium. I absolutely guarantee you the Riders put up more than your pathetic 27,000. Pretty sad from a city who has 800k* people and Regina who has 220k. You guys literally come up with EVERY excuse as to why you didn't have butts in the seats, but frankly, there is no excuse. You guys had a home playoff game for the first time in several years and your turnout what absolutely PATHETIC!

For a guy that just wants to talk football you sure do whine alot.

Please quote some of the "excuses" regarding Bombers attendance and prove wheatards aren't stupid.

  2. I'm ready for the onslaught of hurt feelings but:

IIRC after Trestman left  Dan Hawkins eventually tried to go back to Trestmans offense but Calvillo couldn't teach it after playing in it for years.

Also while playing, his team mates weren't allowed to speak to him on the sidelines.

Besides his dismal track record I have no idea why anyone believes Calvillo has any chance of being a good coach.

Letting him go is IMO the best thing Kavis has done for Montreal.

    Let the flaming begin:)

Sean Paul? wasn't he big once for like a few months in 2004.. I doubt anyone who wasn't attending the game would go just to see Sean Paul.

Sean Paul enjoyed a commercial resurgence in his career throughout 2016 after being featured on three largely successful hit singles by Australian singer Sia, girl band Little Mix and classical crossover group Clean Bandit.

You don't see a problem with breaking an agreement with the league's main broadcast partner, which incidentally is also its main source of revenue?

Of course I do but to say it's anything remotely like what the Rider's did and continue to do is ridiculous. I have no issue with them being fined but I certainly do not think Edmonton gained an unfair advantage that they should have forfeited or lose cap space for?

I expect this sort of blind hate fuelled reaction at riderfans, however this site has proven to be of higher caliber than that dung pile :)

If they are fined then shouldn't the producer who tweeted about it be fined the same as Bo Levi was?

Whatever they get fined ought to come off their cap. That will help make the point.

Make what point? That making up rules after the fact is acceptable?

Do you guys actually think not wearing mic's is even remotely the same as the blatant cheating from the moron's in the rectangle?

I didn't even notice they weren't using them till the booth brought it up, how many of you easily outraged people did?

I get that they are a competitor but seriously.....

Now those two big-ticket items are off the books, but before? Can you honestly tell me that all those taxi-squad players the Riders have been hiding, feeding, housing and paying are not going to count against the cap?

I don't for a second believe the league would have stopped the cheating as soon as they did if Bo Levi hadn't spilled the beans.

I assume they fined him because they finally had to penalize their golden goose.

They even dropped Dunk from their site to appease those morons.

To answer your question, I believe the league will do their very best to not penalize the Rider's any more than the bare minimum to make it look like they're being fair. Do you really think that 2013 roster was only $18000 (or whatever they pretended) over the cap?

yeah, and no knock on Durant's football intelligence, which I have no ability to evaluate, but for me what made the guy special was his athleticism and especially his escapability.  Not a lot of QBs around who can shrug off DTs like he did in his prime. It'll be interesting to see if he still has that and if he doesn't, whether he can adapt his game.

Gotta agree, never seen a QB with a more solid "stance" than him. The issue I see is he wasn't exactly lighting the league up after Dressler left for the NFL and he injured his elbow 2 years ago.
