Guess it is because he no longer plays for the Big Blue - See it over on RiderFans.com all the time. If the player is part of the Rider Organization he is the best thing since sliced bread. Once he leaves, he is garbage. I had thought we had a better class of people on this site. Guess I was mistaken.

As bad as the train wreck in BC is - I would love to see them beat up on the Riders - If they manage a win in Regina the Rider fans will be in total melt down.

Ah I remember the good ol Days when Wade would take the off sides. I think it was the only reason Coach Cal kept him around!  He (Wade) was very good at getting off sides - made a career out of it!

Here are my thoughts - I think your DL including Hughes and Micah have fattened their stats against the bottom dwellers such as Toronto. Against Calgary by way of example they were only average. Let's see what happens against the better Olines as the season progresses. Hughes will tire out as the season progresses and especially if your offense can not stay on the field. I still like Hughes and he does bring it game in and game out  but if he has stay on the field for long periods of time over the season he will just plain wear out.

you guys say this every year when you lose - always the coaches fault etc. IMHO I don't think your team has the talent to succeed. Your Oline is very suspect, The high dollar value players you recruited on defense so far have been a non factor. You do not have a qualified starting QB - whether Zack would have qualified as that we probably never will know. I put the blame for your poor start on your GM for his lousy recruiting in the off year. IMHO your team spent too much money on players that were past their best before date.

I guess I can't reach you with logic - so will not try! However someone disagreeing with you does not make them stupid! Just makes them disagreeing with your position. But no matter - I guess you have spent too much time swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool to understand the concept .

I can not help but agree - The league needs a viable franchise in Toronto - and what I am seeing tonight is so far away from viable that it scares me!

Hi Mark - I also found the site down - I wanted to see what the folks over there were thinking regarding TO coming to town - but the site seems to be down a lot this week.

The one play that stands out to me is the failure by the Lions to score from the 1 yard line at the end of the second quarter. Reilly is a big QB and I can not remember the last time anyone stopped him from gaining at least a yard. And to boot if I remember the play correctly, the Stamps defense stopped him right over where Chung sits at right guard. And Chung is known for his run blocking abilities from what I can remember. That IMHO might have been one of the pivotal plays of the game.

HOWEVER (note that I did cap the however) you are granted much more tolerance here on this site that I would get posting over to your teams site (Riderfans.com). I do post over there and am always careful to avoid any controversy. Their admin will block anyone that even appears to have any degree of anti Rider virus in their blood. Consider yourself lucky to be able to post to a site that allows for view points such as yours.
