  1. Past hour
  2. Perfectly serviceable last year? I’m sorry, that’s way over the top if you’re referring to JT’s play last year. He wasn’t asked to do much other than you know his job. You know it’s okay to admit it had nothing to do with asking him to do too much and he was not perfectly serviceable last year (please see stats) without being accused of being mean to him.
  3. QBs hardly ever threw to Randle's side of the field #randleisland Westerman brought heat and was a great leader Legette was a literal swiss army knife
  4. Today
  5. In such the small league we enjoy with a small stable of Qb’s, every team, excluding Edmonton right now, is a potential landing spot for him.
  6. FWIW, this analysis has us as a possible destination for Ford. Not sure I entirely agree with that but we do need a backup with legitimate experience. I wouldn't be opposed to it if we could make it work financially - like a bonus heavy contract that would only payout if Zach gets hurt or something. https://www.cfl.ca/2026/01/30/3-potential-landing-spots-for-tre-ford
  7. Westerman, Randle, and Legette. Three guys that transformed our D.
  8. Westerman was huge for us. He doesn’t get enough credit for his role in turning the club around.
  9. Thinking back to the DL when they had Westerman, a younger Jeffcoat, Corney, Nevis, JT rotating, etc. That was a solid group
  10. Ford would be too expensive to bring in....As far as a starting qb ...that's very debatable....He can be very elusive as a runner BUT lacks the big accuracy in his passing game ...I want a qb that can do both....Crum started out slowly but now has proved he can do both....pass and run...I'd still give the edge to Crum if we had the shot at him and he certainly wouldn't be that expensive compared to Ford...We'll see what fa brings shortly
  11. Everyone should be given the chance to prove him/her self in any given field...I don't care about 'stigma's or labels attached to individuals...The most important thing to me is 'will/can they be able to actually perform well at the position...The proof will be all out there for Jake when the season commences....jury is out on him...like it is for every individual....Good luck to him in his new job with the team...I along with most Bomber fans will be watching intently....
  12. It was only ever about usage... He was a perfectly serviceable player, but being asked to do way too much in recent years.

  15. I mostly agree. usage kicked off his down fall, and that stigma shouldn’t follow him as a coach, but it will for a bit, I don’t think it’ll be long.
  16. absolutely. combine that with the over the hill gang most of the league is starting does the same. if some thing drastic doesn’t happen fast, it’s going to be second tier spring league offences we see each week
  17. The waste of space stigma while he was a player was totally earned, though not entirely his fault. However, it seems to have carried on into people's objections to him coaching and that is what I was talking about. Some are writing him off as a coach and the guy hasn't coached a game yet. They are translating his last few years as a player as if it directly correlates to how good of a coach he might be. I believe that is unfair. Why would you not want your HC to pick a guy he believes will do well and that he can work with? HC's always pick their favorites amongst guys they are familiar with, to become their coordinators and position coaches. That's not entitlement.
  18. Kinda what you want your QB to be good at though.
  19. I think this most recent convo/debate on current CFL QB’s Like Crum, Powell, Ford, Maier etc emphasis again how desperately we need an infusion of premium QB’s in this league.
  20. Always 2 there are, a master and and apprentice
  21. One of my favorite skits from her:
  22. Rheda Kramdi is out of the dog house?
  23. Grumpy? Okay, Mike. Whatever you say. I'm not going to be drawn into it with you. I won't give you the satisfaction. You want to fight? Go join a boxing club.
  24. didn't everyone get the memo? Kyrie Wilson is the forum whipping boy now.
