Yeah, hammy last year, ankle the year before (also missed part of that season being in the NFL). Was healthy as a rookie in 2023 (played 17 games) and did really well. -

Mack would be a huge add. Maybe a heavily incentive/bonus based contract due to his injury history. -

I like Mack as well. But he's been injured in every season he's played. Not sure the Bombers have many options though. -

I think it was a nagging hamstring issue... hopefully he can get that sorted out because he can be elite... I'd love to see the Bombers bring him in -

I really like Austin Mack, but he had injury problems, correct? -

At this point, I think we've brought back the right vets and released/not signed the right players... looking at our list of FAs, there aren't any more "must signs" on the list... Makonzo is an intriguing player that I would like to actually see play... but other than him, no one on that list needs to be back -

I like the Stan signing. What's the worst case with him, one of our young american tackles proves better and Stan ends up on the 6 game for cap savings and acts as the vet mentor and an extra Oline coach? -

Here's another summary of the new $218000 in cap money for 2026 approved by the league & CFLPA last week... I'll put it in words that hopefully GCN20 understands. Government announcing a 25 per cent hike to the GST credit to help lower-income consumers deal with the high cost of groceries across the country. Branded as the “Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit,” the boost will be temporary, starting this year and lasting for five years. The federal government will also issue a one-time payment this year worth 50 per cent of the credit. Free money to some?

A real sleeper out there is Ayden Eberhardt...not spectacular ...just as dependable as Demski...I can't remember him dropping one in 25'...Certainly worth a look -

It's incredible to me that you insist others "look things up" yet still be so confidently wrong. The $412K and change increase from last year went directly to salary expenditures (salary and bonuses). It explicitly excludes pre / post season compensation, per diems, pension payments and the 6-game injured list. -

https://3downnation.com/2026/01/26/2026-cfl-free-agent-rankings-receivers/ From this list, I think we need 2 guys who aren't Sterns, Schoen, Wheatfall, or Bridges. Then we should also sign one of those guys, or Bane, Robusteli/Nield etc. Get one of White, Eberhardt, Johnson (didn't he get an nfl deal?), Rhymes, . And one of Rambo, Gittens, or Brisset, Addison, or Dunbar. You have to match the passport goals and size in reality. One more Canadian WR would be excellent. But we would have to commit to signing a guy like Nield and or drafting a wr as well. We really need size and a downfield target for Zach. Going with 2 of Gittens, White, and Addison wouldn't be idea though it would be the level of talent influx we need. Eberhardt and White would be a tremendous fit. Either of those 2 with Brisset or Gittens would be awesome, but Nields combination of size and hands would be great as well. I like Nield a bit more than Robustelli; he's extremely reliable catching. But it would be hard to go wrong with either. Mack would be a nice pick-up as well. We have a good selection of guys to go through that would fit our needs, lots of interchangability between guys. It's just a question of how expensive it will be. -

Sounds like Hardy re-signed in Ottawa unfortunately. Rhymes would fit the need for a big outside receiver. I like what I've seen from Robustelli from Sask too. He could be ready to break out. Mack now available too https://3downnation.com/2026/01/26/montreal-alouettes-release-all-cfl-receiver-austin-mack-prior-to-offseason-bonus/ -

I'd be happy bringing in one of Rhymes, Hardy, or White. Overpaying? Depends on the market. None of those guys are going to get Lawler money. Scratch Hardy off the list lol. -

The FA market only has 1 or maybe 2 game changers. Unless we are over paying for Dom Rhymes?
