Yup. D line has a whole are pretty useless, should be airlifting defensive tackles in cuz Jake ain’t it. Korny ain’t it although he’s not terrible when given the odd chance, Adams is 1 man. Willie does nothing. Vaughters hasn’t done much. Lawson seems to be a tad over rated but our best Canadian d line. they need to sit Willie a game and cut Vaughters. Tell Jake it’s time. It’s Vader time. Err retirement time. Adams and Lawson are the only 2 worth keeping at this point.

Inexcusable lack of focus and preparation. Every coach and every player should be embarrassed. When veteran guys like Patty Neufeld are completely turned around and lost on a play it tells you all you need to know about how prepared this team was. The country club atmosphere that seems to have developed after a great start needs to be nipped in the bud right now. It was horrible execution by every position group all evening and that simply will lose you any game you play against any opponent. I don't know how this team continually seems to look so flat prior to bye weeks. Time for the coaches and locker room leaders to change that narrative.

The defense isn't going to have to do much in the second half if they give up 22 points in the first half and the offense can't move the ball. The PxP has Vernon Adams completing 4 short passes / 5 in the second half, but when you are up by 20 why would you push the defense. Point differential is unlikely to come into effect, keep everything nice and easy... Big Play VA is notorious for working both ways. This is why you can't stat sheet watch.... Bombers put up 400 yards of net offense, but that was mostly empty calories where they couldn't finish drives or were playing against a soft Calgary defense that was rushing 3 and was keeping everything ahead of them... 55 pass attempts for only 316 yards is nuts. They only gave up 300 yards of net offense... but the Stamps had a 20 point lead starting at the halfway point of the 2nd quarter and they adjusted their offense accordingly.

My two cents Firstly Cal. wanted it more, they hit harder, ran faster and made the tough plays.....we whiffed, seemed sluggish and made mistakes.... Zach had a poor game, but our offence wasn't as bad as it seemed IMO, the line did decent and Brady was doing well...we just got down so quick we went to well....I'm not sure what game plan we went to, but pre-game Flo said there goal was to make us sit back and throw.....and well the executed exactly that...yet some how it feels like we almost let them Defence...ouch, Vaj could smoke a cigar and casually sip an old fashion before he needed to throw the ball....and on the odd play he couldn't he simple moved a little, did a roll and then resumed sipping his drink while looking for receiver. VAJ can be a very good QB, but I think any QB, Crum, Dolegala, Masoli, Arbuckle, hell Alex Moran from BMS could have beaten us last night...... Offence has some goat horns no doubt but defence definitely has the bigger goat horns in this one IMO

Jefferson is basically useless at this point outside of the of the knockdowns. I expect the gap between career knockdowns and sacks to keep growing until he retires. Hes gonna to retire as the only player with 100 knockdowns and 75 sacks.

Disagree... watch it over and over and learn from the mistakes. This wasn't an isolated incident, this highlighted some problems that have been creeping in for a while

Yes it wasn't good, but they shouldn't be blamed for the 14 points from the two, pick 6s.

Tonight's game summary:

Bighill plus bye week made Calgary look like a well prepared team. Winnipeg was also just really not in the right headspace. Lots of opportunity to win that game. Interceptions. Missed open receivers and when we did put the ball on the money we had sun in our eyes…. glad we have a bye week and justification to make some changes. I’m willing to give Sterns some credit too he’s finally playing to his potential. Sask sterns minus the drops and fumbles is a decent little receiver. Hope that continues. Thought our kick cover teams were pretty good. Let’s not act like Schoen got paid in the same ballpark as Lawler. Hoping we get Wilson back soon.

before breaks they always seem to play crappy. It's really bizarre. It's been that way pretty consistently for a few years now.

I stopped listening to the coach's show a long time ago .. basically a bunch of non-answers and folks rambling / asking nonsensical questions. There's nothing of value that comes out of it. The defense (objectively) wasn't good last night. Poor tackling. Poor communication. Poor execution all around. It doesn't help that Zach threw two touchdown for the other team but the defence did *nothing* to help the cause last night.

Fans don't like to look at those things. Easier to blame the defense.

Well, that was embarrassing. About the only Bombers who had decent games were Clercius and BradyO. Everybody else stunk.

I don't think there were any shining examples of competence last night. It was a complete team stinker. Hopefully the bye week will reboot the team, but I'm not holding my breath. All the DBs were a step and a half behind, receivers were content to wait for the ball to come to them and Zach looked like he was playing for the other team. The team is just old. WJ seems to be phoning it in so far this year. Jake, aside from one play a game, seems to be content with trotting onto the field in a "look at me I'm still playing" prance. I feel we're on the verge of slipping into mediocrity again.

Regardless, its going to be a void we now need to fill.

Does anyone call in to the coaches show and ask these questions? I haven't listened in a long time but I'd love to hear the answer to these preparation questions.

Bombers started the game with mistake after mistake - never got better.....struggled with basic stuff - making a handout, hitting open receiver, catching wide open passes et al. Bombers came looking for trouble......and found it. Not good enough. DL. This isn't a computer game, where you just tag 4 guys as your D-line.....and just run it. Have to construct a ROTATION, with more than one guy (Adams) who can penetrate. Couldn't find our DEs with a Geiger counter..... ZAC. The pick sixes, weren't the kind a vet QB should throw. Too many high balls, late balls and Workman Comp.balls... TSN Panel providing an embarrassing new version of Hee Haw.

Lawler broke 1000 yards once in his career to put this into perspective. Back in 21 and has never played a full season in reality. Schoen has broken over 1000 yards in both seasons he was healthy and played 18 and 16 games. Lawler has 25 TDs in 63 games. Schoen has 27 in 38 or so games. They kept the right guy. Lawler ****** off. I’m sure they offered him a fair contract. I mean the guy hasn’t broken 1000 yards in 4 seasons now. Is almost 300k the going rate for 900 yards? besides aren’t ppl going off on how Zach and his arm is washed. What’s it matter if lawler is here and Zach throwing 60 yard passes 50 yards. Isn’t the problem the QBs inability to actually throw a deep ball ?? You could have 5 Jerry rices or milt stegalls in their primes and im not sure it would matter if the qb was throwing into triple coverage half the time.

We had many on here saying the amount Lawler was paid was insanity due to the amount of games he only played the last few years. What do we do then?
