This is for sure the way. Kids tickets are quite affordable. I've been taking them to games for 3 years now. They love biking to the game, hanging out in the pre game area getting their face painted and having the bouncers and games around to play. Everyone in our section is very friendly and there are lots of high fives to be had. A lot of the kid friendly concessions are inexpensive. The ability to bring our own single serve snacks is great. I used to bring devices to keep them occupied into the second half when their attention started to wane a bit.. some games with earlier start times would help with that but I've even weened them off of that. For entertainment bang for you buck it is right there are you are going to be there 3-4 hours easy. Taking them to the movie if you don't get the Costco deal is going to be $20 a head for 2 hours. Rec Room you are going to burn through that probably an hour. Even Hide n' Seek is about $20/head for however long they last.

Can we make the joke that Lauthers baby is going to be delivered to his neighbours driveway or would that be in poor taste?

I assume the ideal situation is having him with the club next season as a 3rd stringer and starts 2027? Cut Strev and keep Wilson as backup? Or vice versa?

Jake was always that high effort rotational depth Canadian that had a use... but now he's treated like he's prime Doug Brown.... which is insane. Even when he was good he was still just depth.

Minimum 2 eggs scrambled (real eggs, not some fabricated nonsense), sausage, real hash browns (actual potatoes diced and seasoned), and buttered multi grain toast... Bonus points for as many locally sourced products as possible... I'll pay ~$20 for that no problem...

this is a little bit revisionist... most would agree he was a nice quality rotational piece on the DL... up until about 2021... my fondest memory of him (and what I would consider essentially his last useful play as a Bomber) was his bullrush that led to a holding call in OT of the 21 GC... that penalty negated a good run, put Hammy into 1st and 20, which became 2nd and 18, and the rest is history... Jake should've went out on top after that year

Oddly enough we’ve taken 3/4 against the Riders, and we’re 4-4 since 2016 in the Labour Day classic after going over a decade without winning one. It feels more winnable then it used to in the mid 2000’s atleast. I’m never very worried about the banjobowl because we’ve almost always steam rolled the riders during those games.

Naylor says Ajou-Ajou coming back to the Riders right away after being cut down south...

Just crazy to think... If we sweep these two games we'll be 8-4 , tied with the gappers and we'll have the tie breaker. I'm cautiously optimistic

It's a signing bonus, it would be paid immediately for the extension. And would allow him to be paid very, very well for the remainder of this year, while not leaving us committed to a crazy cap hit for him next year if he doesn't get NFL interest. Doesn't make a lot of sense to give him a big roster bonus for after the NFL window next year, he'd have no reason to sign that and come up here today. He may as well just wait till then. Mean while we have excessive cap room because of the lack of signings and use of the cap extension.

As long as the bonus doesnt kick in til past the nfl window. Paying him a big bonus just to play the remainder of this season may not make sense

The UFL has no agreement with the cfl when it comes to honoring contracts or rights last I heard. Is it still going to exist? I'm doubtful. But even if it does fail, another spring league will take its place. If he sits the whole year down there, though, we lose his rights next year. I think it's just a case of they recognize how good his talent and how coachable he is, and want to see him up close to make sure they don't miss out on a 1 in a million shot. Elgersma doesn't help us this year, no matter what. But he might be our only real QB hope for the future currently. They especially love to kick the tires on Canadians. I think giving him a really fat signing bonus and the promise of release for NFL signings in the off season is the best bet for us. Other wise I bet he kicks around for another month easy.

Giants bring in anyone and their mom for workouts....some mom's I hear fared well but the politics of the NFL did them in hahaha Pokey should just suck it up and realize he not got a chance down there...If a guy like Polk came back and isnt concerned with playing the dance....a guy I would take over Wilson any day....Pokey should realize that he has zero shot too and being 2 yrs older than Polk...and not the desired NFL body type isnt doing him any favors
