I definitely agree. Once the existing head coaches retire or die, we should just fold the league.

How about this - you can change your pick, but all QB sneaks scored by the team you changed to don't count.

Hiring these coaches with no prior head coaching experience... That has to stop. A guy like Mark Killam rose to the level of STC & then stayed there for 20 years in Calgary being passed over for HC jobs year after year. There was good reason for that as he's not qualified to be a HC. Instead, strangely the Elks hired him (probably as he came cheap) & now he's enrolled his qb in the Edmonton Elks Quarterback Academy... where improvement is more important than wins. Where, "We almost won" is considered a moral victory. Meanwhile, the team expects fans to shell out money for a qb in Tre Ford who can make some great plays with his legs & arm (at times). Just not when he has to, to win a game. While the Elks say "Improvement!!, the fans in Edmonton on social media are saying, "Why should I spend my money on this ****??" As well as, "Same old, same old!" I can see the Elks going 4-14 this season missing the playoffs due to the stupid philosophy of the team. The ratio & putting Canadians on the OL.

Schultz was the glue on that panel. He wasn't a character. He just knew the game. That little skit they did last night prepping the audience for the half time discussion? WTF was that? Something about being cool? Both McManus & Naylor must have felt buck naked as they had nowhere to hide. If you remember the look on Naylor's face, that said it all.
-
So where did he go off to? It certainly wasn't to the game...

Maybe 2 or 3 years. Kids the youngest D in the draft. Riser. It’s a good thing. Salo. Freij Sasha. All Swedes

Could be a good one, in five years 😕

The dream. I think lber is going to be the big future default Canadian spot on D. It’s all turning to pressure and or drop D. We will continue to see some ratio breaking ni pass rushers and dbs but I can see a lot of teams going to Canadians for run stoppers and shallow to moderate depth zones.

Thanks, thought I had gone with the Riders. 🤮

I let people change their picks for the following reasons: I lock voting at the start of the first game of the week to make administering / tracking easier. This way I know no one made a pick after a game started. Since voting does get locked at the start of the first game, if someone is late, I don't want to penalize them for all 4 games of the week. If you miss a full week of picks, very hard to remain competitive. I'd rather more people continue to play than not. Since I let people who forgot to get their picks in still vote after voting is locked, it only makes sense to let people change a pick with the same rules. If I didn't allow this, more people may wait until later in the week to make their picks, then forget, then miss completely, this again can lead to a decrease in participation. This option is open to everybody, so I don't see how it is unfair. Unrelated stat, but I find it interesting. Most years there are a lot of people who play the first couple of weeks, then trail off. This is for any number of reasons. People forget, fall behind, get busy with summer, who knows why. This is the first year we had 41 people in week 1, and while a. few people missed a week here or there, we still have 41 people playing this week. Good to see.

Imagine the interior with a Lawson/Woods/Adams rotation. They need a Canadian in the back 8 (Shay, Kelly or whoever) at some point, the 2 jobbers aren’t going to cut it at DT all year.

Idk what I’d do for popularity. But if I was the commish, I’d increase the coaching cap by atleast 40-50% at nearly any cost. Coaching cap is strangling the crap out of this league.

Link: https://youtu.be/W5DoasX9m0c?si=SeVcaqM9-jiF4SNw Another version of condensed game footage from last night’s awesome game. This one shows replays of the big plays. Enjoy! Note: I have no plans on profiting off of these videos as it’s obviously not my content. Just doing this for fans that may have missed the game/want to watch it again in under 45 minutes. I believe TSN should be doing this already, and am thrilled to see the Bombers starting to do this on their own YouTube.
