  1. Past hour
  2. Man, we're still going on about this? We need the Bombers to sign Ontaria so we have something else to talk about.
  3. Today
  4. We have Clercius. Thing is, the Bombers can just sign some free agents. If they choose.
  5. You do it. I don't have any problems with what Willson says, You do.
  6. Riders OL has given up 15 sacks. I watched their game against Montreal - they were literally pushing them around. I think our pass rush 'can' be vigorous, but many downs it is not. But...any given Sunday!
  7. Collaros always has a big old bag of **** yous for the riders.
  8. I think that the Rider O-line is average on their best days and vulnerable. Combine that with a brittle, possibly wounded Trevor Harris and that ought to mean that a vigorous Bomber rush will sideline Harris by halftime. If so, and Collaros plays as well as last game, we have a shot at deflating the Riders in their own playpen.
  9. That mysterious 'Wow! signal' from space? Scientists may finally know where it came from
  10. 33 for 403 and a td in 10 games. Rebus's verdict is not a crappy year by Woli in 2024.
  11. Did he? I mean he got hurt but he still did the things expected of him in his role.... Plus woli was a legit starter whereas Jake was always a depth guy...
  12. Yesterday
  13. Didn't Thomas miss the entire week of practice, yet still ended up playing?
  14. Woli had a crap year last year. Let's not have revisionist history here. It's why we moved on. Comparing him and Jake is fair. Difference is Drew was never a whipping boy here. Guys clamoring go get him back are living in the past.

  16. Kramdi hasn't practiced all week and is only questionable... yahuh... sure thing. Got a feeling demski gonna miss too.
  17. At 5'10" and 185lb, he's gonna have to work hard.
  18. Schoen was invisible this year even before his injury.
  19. Come on, its like this when it comes to MOS and Fatboi
  20. I just received 25 bucks from the Second Auto Parts Distribution settlement.
  21. No it's not the same. Wolitarsky was still a guy producing as expected from his role. Thomas is a guy playing more than his ability dictates which is the issue.
  22. To me that read tongue-in-cheek... People complain about O'Shea's unwillingness to move on from Thomas but when the team does move on from a veteran (Wolitarsky) people complain, so damned if you do damned if you don't even though if we had a straw poll about if we had to pick one it would be 100% to Wolitarsky. And with Wolitarsky... it does take two to tango. It's clear to us all here that he would have been the #3 Canadian Receiver behind Demski and Clercius so how often would he be getting on the field? Bombers are having issues with depth right now but you don't necessarily expect that and I can see why he would want to be in a position where he is on the field more often than not. Obviously hasn't played out the way he wanted with picking up a hamstring issue and BOO looking more or less competent
  23. However we want to characterize Makonzo's role as a key player in historically bad Chris Jones D...the guy hasn't suited up for a football game in 22 months. He's not going to play more than 35-40 snaps in a whole game including special teams.
  24. If the three-year recovery is accurate for Shoen, then we should not be expecting great things this season and by the time the three year period is over, he will not be a spring chicken any more. As far as Mitchell is concerned, IMO he has shown very little in either catches or ability to separate himself from defenders, so it ought not be too hard to find a better replacement. He may yet have a breakout game, but right now he looks like a bust. We got troubles in River City.
  25. Not at all injury related, his wife went into labour. Congrats to his family.
