  2. Foucault is just so bad. His passport keeps him employed in the CFL.
  3. Where's the great Sukh Chungh? Gittens could have signed with us. Or stayed in Toronto. he'll be lucky to break 500 yards in Edmonton. Even with a game breaker I doubt it would make much of a difference. With Ford in there running wild & improvising that whole offense is a cluster****.
  4. Is this the first ever palindrome to play in the CFL??
  5. ...and they still haven't brought Chungh back, it's got to be about more than just money.
  6. Today
  7. He is a free agent, maybe done with football. David Foucault and Anu Una are injured.
  8. They did. Is chungh hurt?
  9. Not to mention having an underwhelming receiving corps...doest help...no real legit game breaker And did i see that right...B.C was rolling a 4 import oline??
  10. Ford looks more like Tyrie Adams than a guy ready for the #1 job, he either doesn't fully understand the strategic purpose of the routes his receivers are running or can't commit to the play being called. Similar to his brother he seems to have a semi-focus on the play and over relies on his athleticism, which makes everything look like sandlot. 11. Is this a trick question, at least 5 people besides bluto have. I don't have a serious answer, the only places I haven't been to a game are Montreal Toronto and Sask.
  12. Brown's forte is finding open receivers and throwing accurate passes, but until his O-line provides better protection, he'd better make like Zach and be ready to roll out of the pocket at a moments notice. It's up to Condell to figure this out.

  14. Been to a lot of places on that list... Some good beverages in there. Good for Cabin winning for their Super Saturation. I do like that beer a lot....
  15. His longest run here in the regular season was just under 20 for a first and he had a run slightly longer in pre season. Not only did he run for some firsts here, he had some great run and throw plays. He also had over 300 in his first year of college with a long of 62 yards. He’s a run to throw guy, but he’s fully capable of picking up a first with his legs if needed.
  16. I anticipated much better games yesterday. Both were duds, IMO. Ford is stil a work in progress at QB. Seem to only have success running with the ball or scrambling then making a throw

  18. He didnt target his head at all, you could see the Lions db put his right shoulder out and collided with the chest of the Elks receiver. The collision itself knocked the helmets off, not from a targeting.
  19. The Lions DB targeted the head of the Elks receiver with his helmet. Both lost their helmets. This isn't 1980 anymore. Players need to be protected. Good call.
  20. If I was an Elks fan, having Ford as the starter would drive me nuts. His play at qb is all over the place. There's no consistency, rhyme or reason to how he plays qb. Ford makes an outstanding play that takes 18 seconds to run as he makes chicken salad out of chicken feathers. But for every 1 big play he makes, he makes 5 lousy ones. Just watching him, it's all based on athletic ability & not on football smarts. I think by mid season, he'll be sitting again & Fajardo the starter with the Elks at 1-8 or 2-7. Ford won't have any receivers left by season's end.
  21. I've never seen Brown take off & run downfield. Or use his legs to get a first down. At best, he can avoid the first couple of tacklers that break thru the LOS & then gets sacked.
  22. Every pass under 15 yards the receiver has to leap to try to catch it from Ford.
  23. Thats a perfect hit, contact as soon as the ball was caught, not high nor low, bullshit call.
  24. Wouldn’t this be a great opportunity for the Elks to run an actual 2qb system with Fajardo and Ford? I know its unheard of but would love to see a team actually attempt it. Get the offensive coordinator to think how that could look with the talent they have. Whats the harm in trying for a quarter to see if you can get any traction with it?
  25. Or when he plays Winnipeg. He always looks terrible against you guys.
  26. When the chips are down, adversity hits thats when I’ll be interested to see if Rourke has grown into being a mature qb.
  27. Puke….. people are anointing Rourke again.
