  7. Detroit Lions On SIDetroit Lions Winners and Losers Through 24 Hours of Free...Who benefits most from Lions' recent moves in free agency? With the lions locking up their lt spot, gio manu is going into a make or break camp. The odds are long and against him, before the draft no less. They could well draft an ol project. He needs to have an extremely good camp, it may well be an extended try out for other nfl teams if their ol stays health. OT Gio Manu“Manu is entering a massive third NFL season, and his path to a starting spot may have gotten steeper with the addition of Borom. Penei Sewell will anchor one side of the offensive line, and it could be either the left or right side with Taylor Decker being released. Now, with the addition of Borom, Manu has more competition to work with. He missed significant time last season with a knee injury after making his first career start, which cost him valuable practice reps that could've aided his development. The Lions had previously discussed the potential of Manu playing guard last offseason. With the team also adding Mays and Scruggs and already having two starting guards returning, Manu may not even have a clear path to playing time should he ultimately slide inside. He needs to have a strong training camp.”

  9. Correction.. 7 shots thru 40 mins
  10. Harkins is a factor on the score sheet too. This is abysmal. 7 shots thru 35 mins of hockey.
  11. These older players sign their 1 year deals thinking the money will always be there even though younger receivers are being signed or drafted. Then, the money dries up for these older players. They've gone 6 weeks without being signed as free agents. They can see the writing on the wall. No one will pay what they want. The market dries up. Had they had a 2 year deal they might still be employed. That's the downside of 1 year deals. Older veterans beware.
  12. Jansen Harkins is in the Ducks lineup. Didn’t know he was still around.

  21. A job notice for a dessert artist has been spotted on the website SimplyHired so I think we are getting closer
  22. No, only one tells the story of whether, or by how much a player might be over paid in comparison to his peers. TOTAL salary. Any comparison of partial salary attained thru Hard money vs bonuses does not and cannot tell that tale. Using it out of context is either the author of the post not using logic, or the author of a post hoping that the lack of logic is overlooked. If, as you say, both tell the same tale then post up total salary amounts as they are required to prove your point.
  23. 21 mil, 10 n change guaranteed. Awesome for Dee, very happy to see him secure his future and his families future for a long time.
  24. You go dig your foxhole & keep staying in it. Zach is overpaid & that's the end of it. Your take is baseless. There was no one out there we could have signed two years ago that would have done better than him so the Bombers gave Collaros an extension. You mentioned Fajardo & Adams would be your qb choices. Faj was dumped after winning a Grey Cup. Adams has never won anything & is so inconsistent that he's like a Jekyll & Hyde personality as a qb. If that is your choices, most fans would be happy with Zach. Signed with Hamilton.

  26. expunging of Kolo - what became of him?
  27. Doesn't make a big difference who is at which T. I think Broxton is likely to stay in the spot, but marty will figure all that out if he hasn't already. Im a big believer in wallace, I hope he continues his trajectory. With a competent Centre, I think the guards will thrive who ever we plug in. The D is going to struggle with the K/KR KIs, likely a DB and if we go with the token Lber. I hope we start griffen and go with a canadian/vaval if he steps up as the back up dbs. Then use a DI on the DL Im pretty confident in Eli. I do have some concerns with his struggles in pass pro at G, but some guys just dont change position well, and he played with an awful C. I also like vibert alot. My primary concern with our OL, is not losing young guys who have shown soo much and have tremendous ceiling. Rando, wallace, and Vanterpool should be long term pieces.
  28. IMHO, we have had a massive overall upgrade, but still have a couple of concerns. Firstly, I would have been happier with an incentive-loaded contract for Collaros as he is getting to the age where the wheels are gonna fall off. We absolutely need a backup QB to step up. The longer the Elgersma situation drags on, the greater the likelihood he will be delayed in arriving- maybe never.
  29. Its already been said Broxton will be RT...Bryant LT this yr....the big question is whats going on at left guard...Does Wallace step up and show he is established there....hopefully so as I would rather us not have 3 import Oline guys as in all honesty, that wouldn't really be a huge impact on the over all team strength. The addition of another impactul DT or DE tho gives our defence way more depth...strength and flexibility...it's the better path to take I am 100 percent certain ELI will be at center, so the notion of a U,S center is kinda out in space dreaming, and really a import there expected to recognize the Canadian game defensive schemes and figure out the blocking....on the fly....no thank you...Maybe if we had a young QB with escapability and not a luandry list of injury concerns or one good shot away from being on the IR for an extended time... sure....not with ZC tho....I can't see Osh rolling those dice The addition of Broxton.....The expunging of Kolo and am certain the advancement in Wallace...we already are significantly better than we were...and deeper....and we have a real O.C who will be able to create schemes with the whole unit
