  1. Past hour
  2. He's capable...adequate? Maybe he takes a big leap but from seeing some others in camp...I think we could do better...and it's not like we havnt put in raw rookies before..heck we have used 2 before
  3. Qft. Good week of kick off games too. Brown vs ssk, tor vs mtl, and the wannabebombers vs the vaj stampers.
  4. He played a good bit in 3-4 games last year. He improved from early on but just kind of got to average. Didn’t show any thing special. Love to be wrong about him just don’t see much.
  5. Hes really only gotten chances at guard, not C. He sure has bungled those chances though. Hes barely played C since the end of 21. His snapping is fine, just not in practice enough imo. In general the snap to the pistol should not be difficult. Not like the old days of snapping to shot gun. Wish we never lost couture.
  6. We haven't seen much of Bridges really... Bridges started one game last season and spent the rest of the year on the PR or as a 6/7 DB. So maybe a year of development will have paid off. As for Parker I think there is still a ton of potential there and safety seems like the right spot for him.
  7. he is the best true tackler on the team among DB's....prob team tho J.Jones is a machine....and if he totally healthy he likely one of the fastest on team too.....we cant go wrong with him on roater in any capacity With Griffin II...Parker...J. Jones and actually D. Adams on the field those are 4 guys who excel at bringing a guy down
  8. Team wise I think it does offer an opportunity. More prep time for strevy rookies etc. Parker has done every thing but stay healthy. Love what he brought before the injuries. If he’s similar to what he was before it’s going to be ba esq.
  9. he actually was a starter in 2023 ...and originally first yr was projected to be but got hurt...his injury got Holm into lineup
  10. From 3DN about TSN broadcasts this year.... "The CFL on TSN is taking a renewed approach to its broadcasts for 2025. The network’s panel will travel to all nine stadiums over the course of the upcoming season, sources told 3DownNation, including visits to Regina and Montreal in Week 1. Kate Beirness is returning to host the panel with Henoc Muamba and Davis Sanchez filling the main roles alongside her. Paul LaPolice will also frequently appear on the panel, though he will also perform colour commentary for one game per week. As previously reported, longtime panelist and Hall of Fame quarterback Matt Dunigan is no longer with the network. As for Milt Stegall, who has been with the network since 2009, there is no timeline for his return after the death of his eldest son, Chase. The 20-year-old died unexpectedly at DePaul University on Monday where he was a member of the school’s soccer team. “Our CFL on TSN family is absolutely devastated over Chase’s passing. If you know Milt, you know that his family is everything to him, and we cannot imagine the pain he is going through right now,” said producer Chris Edwards in a statement to 3DownNation. “Milt is our brother and we are going to give him our love and support him in any way we can, and in whatever way he needs.” During a broadcast teeing up the 2025 season on Tuesday, TSN dedicated its coverage this year to Chase’s memory. TSN plans to flesh out the panel by rotating in active players, though it doesn’t appear as though this will happen every week. Players will generally make panel appearances during bye weeks, though there may also be opportunities for in-studio appearances when players are in town to play the Argonauts or Tiger-Cats. Friday Night Football, a longtime network staple, will have a brand new presentation featuring fresh animations, graphics, and music. One source called the scope of the production “bigger.” The play-by-play personnel at the network has remained unchanged for 2025, featuring Rod Smith, Dustin Nielson, Marshall Ferguson, and occasionally Farhan Lalji. Colour commentary will be performed by Glen Suitor, Duane Forde, and LaPolice."
  11. if neither are top notch then...why continue with them....thats an issue also....many players can be lumped into that here Kolo was drafted...in the league 2 yrs and gone...just wasnt good...2 yrs on the scrap heap and we grabbed him as a PR depth piece and then had to use him when Couture went down...and that all we had Why they kept him in after Couture was back...is baffling as Couture was twice the center Kolo was....and it's ironic as we have bemoaning the poor line play for 3 yrs now...how they older...or "cooked" and literallt the same group who dominated...save for the Kolo arrival...imagine that....He's undersized....knock against him...Undersized but athletic (which he is not)...another knock...Couture originally was undersized but he was athletic and had tech skill...and gained weight...practical weight..Kolo gained too...but was the fat weight...and didnt help at all in his athleticism....has short arms and cant keep dline guys off him whatsoever...gets over powered consistently....but there he stays...why?....typical complacency here in some positions...and obviously he get Osh firm in the tighty whities for some reason...Draft...recruit...free agent sign a legit center then...thats what you should be doing ...trying to get better all the time...regardless of who's in house or how long a guys been here You can almost say the same with T.Jones...scrap heaped him from Edm where he was dumped for a younger rookie who they saw upside in...and he won ROY and just extended a new deal....given the chance....look what happenes We grabbed him....he took Biggies role by default...and again appears to be the defacto guy until we see otherwise...why?....is he capable....sure...in anadequate sense....is he a true difference making MLB tho?...not in the least and we for 3 yrs now have had no succession plan or even have groomed anyone...status quo we go...Ayers prob will walk away from us next yr as why wouldnt he...he has 2 Older on the downside vets blocking him...again...and when he on field all he does is make plays but is being bypassed.....I will reserve judgement on things here and eat crow if for some miraculous on game one J.Jones is penciled in as the "starter"...Ayer's....as the WIL...Lawson at DT....And they take lion's share of the snaps....but I'm not a fool...and I bet all 3 are not...and 1 of the 3 aren't even on the roster.....
  12. Just the colour of his jersey. Stick him on any other team and his name would have barely been mentioned last year.
  13. I disagree, places like McDonalds are so expensive now that the Mom and Pa if done right can offer much superior offerings at a similar price.
  14. Parker has paid his dues and put in his time, he's been around since 2022 and has never become a full-time starter, after a full year of rehab, this is his big chance to establish himself as a team leader. People may have forgot but at one time he was the backup returner for Grant.
  15. Eli seems to botch a snap whenever he plays centre so that might be the line that the coaches have drawn. He's great in that 6th OL role
  16. Today
  17. I'm so happy we're 28hrs away from CFL football again!
  18. Seems they value Vet presence at Safety. MOS always talked about how Alexander was a general out there and making sure guys knew their spots.
  19. More and more mom and pops are going to be going under, just can't compete anymore especially with the way costs are going up and up, an already razor thin margin is sliced to the point where it's just not worth it anymore.
  20. Unfortunately Eli is not one of them. I banged his drum for a long time to be starting over Kola, he just fails to seize any chances given to him.

  22. The guys making the decisions disagree. I mean it seems there’s always something right. Eli has been around since 2018 2019. He’s not some fresh faced rookie. He is what he is and what he is is a backup. Wallace passed him year 1 basically and Vibert prob next year. The Eli hill is an odd one. Dudes been the next one for 5 6 seasons now.
  23. As opposed to kolo consistently allowing that several times a game...for yrs...and has a real hard time working with his guards in tandem? Not saying Eli is all world...but he is better...and if he played...would get even better yet Kolo hasn't really won anything...I'd say there are 6 guys on our roster...active.. and pr and injury who are better than him
  24. I am kind of glad we have it this year tbh. An extra week to prep in a new offensive system for a QB that has not had a start since early last year with a couple of new receivers can't hurt.
  25. If Jake and Schmek want to sit out... like permanently... that would be just fine
