  2. He has a far greater chance of making that money in the CFL vs the NFL is what my point is. Yes, obviously he would have to have a long and successful career to attain that.
  3. Very nice article in the Free Press on Woli today.
  4. Yep. The NFL loves hypocrisy more than monday night football.

  8. ConsequenceSteve Perry "Didn't Say No" to Journey Reunion, Says Jona...Jonathan Cain has revealed Steve Perry "didn't say no" when asked by Neal Schon to rejoin Journey for a guest appearance on their 2026 final tour.
  9. It's funny to be the NFL got so upset at the NFLPA for their member body grading the teams, but the NFL doesn't have any issue trotting out independent people grading players performance on a play by play basis (PFF) and having their broadcast partners blast it all over their coverage. I don't think its reasonable to expect anyone to be able to parlay a career in the CFL to 7 or 8 million dollars... once he is off his ELC he'd be 27... so it would take 10 years @ 700K AAV to get him to 7 million... and that is if one of a million different things that could go wrong to derail a career doesn't go wrong. To project someone who spent 4 years in CIS ball and had one half decent NFL preseason game to end up the highest paid CFL player ever post US-Expansion seems... pie in the sky at best.

  13. speaking of politics, the nfl has won a grievance against the nflpa over pa grades. They aren’t going to be allowed to publish them any more, as people have been weaponizing the scores, while some teams (jets) have been slashing expenses like food to pocket more money. They are looking to a 3rd party to grade teams, which I think is great. I’d love to see the pa grades continue here but add the 3rd party grading as well.
  14. I don't think he nor his agent is doing him any favours dragging this out. A new crop of college QBs is coming online as of April, pushing his NFL offers further away plus the fact he hasn't played any meaningful football since Green Bay TC. The sooner he comes to realize his pro QB future is in the CFL, the better for him.
  15. I have a feeling he is thinking it’s something it isn’t. I can’t think of any qbs who served as the camp arm to get signed out of that for camp, little on make a team. I could be wrong but it’s a pretty big hail mary. It’s a strange move for him. It’s not bad by any means, I expect him to be ufl bound.
  16. Just a practice arm. That ought to wake him up.
  17. ^^ Going as a Camp Arm: "Each year NFL teams can invite select free agents to the NFL Combine and Elgersma has garnered an invitation. He’s going along with Kyle Trask to help throw to the other positions during the combine process. Trask was selected in the second round, 64th overall during the 2021 NFL Draft. The combine runs from Monday, February 23 through Monday, March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium."
  18. Elgserma getting an invite to NFL combine. 3DownNationCanadian QB Taylor Elgersma accepts invite to 2026 NFL Co...Canadian quarterback Taylor Elgermsa has accepted an invite to the 2026 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, per sources. He becomes the second U Sports QB
  19. Friedman couldn't be nicer and more humble.... I've never got the vibe that he's arrogant. I think the producers would like him to be more of a personality, which sucks, but I've never got the vibe that he's very comfortable with that. Bieksa they keep pushing to be more and more if an ******* on TV and I think Friedge tries to stay with him...
  20. Well the women almost pulled off the hockey upset. Too bad they couldn't have potted an empty netter and sealed the deal. I don't get it? Keenan from SNL? What?
  21. What's that saying? Starting to believe his own press is my current read on EF.
  22. yeah, I felt the same about Kevin Glenn after the 2008 season. Good thing we moved on from that guy!
  23. We have no one brimming with potential ready to replace him, so we have to give him and every other QB an honest shot to become the starter.
  24. well my faith feels kind of restored in the franchise, but I might see it because Conan's involved
  25. And streaming killed the CD industry which is forcing muscians to go back to doing live shows.
  26. Duthie looks tired and weathered a bit. He’s still a solid host tho but yeah Bieksa and Pounder are definitely the straw that stirs the drink. Elliotte just I dunno, not a fan. Likely island visitor vibes.
  27. You know you (we all) prob could make this happen. That’s a suggestion they likely wouldn’t laugh at. Give me Woli. Give me local bands. Give me dogs and frisbees.
