No but people have routinely discussed not signing Stemp as a failure of management.  As you said, bottom six.  A guy who NO ONE signed until NJ offered a try out.  And he wouldnt have scored 20 goals in our bottom six.  I mean sure, if Chevy DOES have a crystal ball whereby he can see how guys will perform during the year, then its a failure to sign someone he knew would do well.  But assuming he doesnt, Stemp is, was and will always be irrelevant to the Jets.

He scored 6 goals in 18 games last year for us as a bottom 6 player.

Figure out the math for what that translates to over an 82 game season.

People actually take the day off work for this trade deadline crap. Lol. 1 trade so far involving basically 2 nobodies. The biggest news is waiver pick ups.

Kris Russell who has similar fancy stats as mark Stuart and a washed up Dan hamhuis are the big deals today maybe? Man. What a joke this stuff is.

Nobody ever claimed Stempniak was a saviour... but what was missing this year was Chevy's annual waiver wire or low cost signing - Perrault, Stemp, Santarelli, etc...

Jets got bit by lack of depth this year - then again, if we're in the playoff race, probably lose Ladd for nothing...  maybe this was the plan
