Bombers at Sask. - (Never Mind)

11947542_1059609590738668_36640074607209

On - Willie, Adams, Simmons, Walker, Nichols, Johnson, Collins

Off - Gordon, Veltung, Littlejohn, Turner, T. Thomas, Marve, Griffiths

Lots of exciting changes for the Bombers, including Willie, Adams' return, Simmons on the roster…Collins in the lineup. Veltung out sucks though.

  • Win, lose or draw I don't think any changes are going to be made coaching wise from this point in.  The beginning of the bye-week was the best timing to axe MB, Willy out long-term, Nichols starting f

  • Have to say. The players going on to the depth chart vs. the players coming off make it look like we could field a pretty competitive team if we had any form of quarterbacking/protection...

  • The only small piece of happiness that i took from this shitacular display was that dyce got his first win against us. Cant help but root for him but literally only him lol

Brohm Marve Willy BLM Ray... it doesn't matter who the QB is cuz the play calling is ****

Cut Walker and fire the OC

Riders are just pounding the ball now.  D is too tired to respond.  Game over.

I enjoy now that Marve is out, you're going to blame the OC instead of the qb

MOS is terrible

MB is terrible

Borhm is terrible.

Fixed.

Very sad. Faint hope in present regime almost gone.  Remain riders whipping boys. Even though they hired and fired Taman. Not too early to start drinking. And imagine its 1984.

I try not to post during or right after bad beats.  But after this I'd say someone needs to get canned or cut.  I just don't know who since I'm only listening and sorta depending on Irving, Brown and Twitter for what is happening.  Is Bellefuille the easy choice? Or does a player need to be held accountable?

What an embarrassment and a bloody disgrace...How the hell the management and coach thought they put together a football team is beyond me...There better be some firings after this one and if there isn't....paper bag time and the pitch forks will be out...Poorly coached....bad player acquisition and this team is headed for the basement and another futile year...pure bull#hit

If he's open to coming here, should really look at bringing in Gale.  Need help at the QB position.  Oh and for the love of god stop taking penalties!

How much more evidence do we need to fire MB? Our offense is a disgrace

On the bright side, we've made our Sask neighbours feel good about themselves.  It's good to help others right?

And they are making it look respectable in garbage time even though they were never really in it from the beginning.

The silver lining is that they didn't get embarrassed, although chances are that could happen next week...

Hire Bob Dyce in the offseason!

I disagree with you. This game was a disgrace, from start to finish. The score was close at times, but we were never in the game.

The game was fine until after the first touchdown we scored. We were out playing them on offence and defence. Both facets fell apart after that.

Yeah, if football games were only 10 minutes long, this team might be able to win one...

Here's a jolt of reality: the Bombers have had more blowouts this year than wins, and since going 7and 1 last year, we are 5 and 17.

O'Shea getting testy with Doug Brown in the post-game interview over questions regarding how he will deal with the lack of discipline by the players.

Didn't hear him say he had to look at the game film though...

Can't BS a former player.

Lay off the crack.. We were in this game until demskis return TD..

I get we lost but lets not embellish it eh. At half time we were down a FG.

Nope. We got 10 points despite our offense doing nothing. We were out of it the moment the riders put a long drive together.

We simply are not going to win a football game by using the same plays over and over again. The. 5-6 plays that the entire league knows we're running, might fly in high school but it is an embarrassment for a professional team. For gawd's sake, give your QB a chance to win th freeking game!! Broom didn't do anything wrong in this ultra passive package and if given more to work with, might have been able to actually move the ball downfield. What did we throw? One pass at 15 yards? Pathetic.

I never advocated this before, but Marcel Bellefeuille is simply smothering this team, and has to go.

We had no chance because we had a pathetic game plan that was designed to keep a game close....if we were actually winning.

No killer instincts.

No downfield passes.

No imagination.

No chance. It all leads to.....

No Bellefeuille.

Sask. offence looked absolutely dynamic compared to the Bombers, and that's saying something really awful.  I cry for Clarence.

I don't know about all the Marcel hate here. It's hard to say exactly what went wrong. But I remember in the fourth quarter when we recovered Demski's punt, it looked like they had two deep passes called and Brohm didn't even get a chance to set his feet before he was sacked.

I know it's easy(er) to point your finger at a player, or a coach, or a system. But I said it the day that Willy got hurt (well ok, might have been a few days after) that though the injury sucked and would definitely hurt us, the good thing to take away from it was the fact that we would find out what kind of metal the team was made up of. How would the players and coaches react. Even if we didn't win a game - if they fought hard, competed, and were in the game, then at least that would give us (well me anyway) hope that we are on the right track.

Well, I think it's safe to say this team - and I'm not pointing fingers here as it is a team and everyone shoulders some blame -  is showing it doesn't believe in themselves or their fellow teammates/coaches. MOS as pointed out, since a 5 - 1 start (someone said 7 -1 we weren't 7 - 1 we were 5 -1 and the wheels fell off) we've gone 5 - 17 or whatever. Firing anyone now won't help - but unfortunately it looks like another major house cleaning at the end of the year. O'Shea will be back in Toronto running Special teams or something, Kyle Walters will go back to being an assistant, and who knows what else will happen (Miller??).

I think the only silver lining here is that though he's know Zack - we do finally have a QB we can build around in Drew Willy. Though the way we protect him, he probably won't be around when the 'build' is complete.
