  • Was at both sessions today and on the players sideline with the WHSFL. My thoughts as it was the first day of camp I have been to this year. I mostly followed the back 7 on D and skilled guys on O. So

  • Beauty day today. Seen some good and some bad from QBs and receivers. Jhomo Gordon with a burst down the sideline on a TD play from Marve I think. Howell cussin at the receivers was awesome. So passio

  • Who can blame him, he obviously wants to go to the NFL.

Also, from where I'm sitting, big day for Jhomo Gordon. Lotta catches, some time on returns...

For those asking, seeing a lot of Robert Lamar playing MAC today...

You mean Rodney Lamar?

What a pet peeve. Obviously he means Rodney Lamar.

Gotta think that Darvin Adams has about locked up a spot on this team the way that he's looked in camp.  Gordon possibly leading the way for the next import receiver spot.

Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming

Jhomo Gordon making some nice catches today. If he can pair that up with his burning speed, he'll be a nice option at receiver. #Bombers

Gordon screams huge potential with his young age. Gotta keep him around

Is he Brandon Banks type speed?

Re: Depth Chart

Shows 9 starting nationals on depth chart.  I don't see us using 2 national linebackers for most plays, so that brings us down to 8.  Maybe only one national receiver this year?

I can't get over the fact that Gordon is only 21.

Noeller - if you see Bauming ask him how the new special teams coach is working out so far.  Thanks.

Ya, Dave and I just saying that Jhomo Gordon, Darvin Adams and Denmark were top 3 receivers from what we saw. Bastien had a few good grabs too. Marve looked good in the scrimmage at the end.

Is Tuinei falling down the depth chart?

I don't know about falling down, more like getting pushed down.

It can all change in the pre-season games. But Jhomo definitely seems to be swaying the popular opinion.

His murkyness levels are too damn high.

Like that response about Tuinei (??) pushed down is about right. Didn't notice him a lot today...

Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB

Sam hurl having another good day in bomber camp after receiving ringing endorsement from coach O'Shea

I sure hope we're paying him what he's worth.

If O'shea thought he is good, then I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I just hope he's not looking at it blindly, just like how he saw Ejiro Kuale at last year's TC.

Has anyone heard the description, "S/he wouldn't say **** if her/his mouth was full of it"? For me, that was the most annoying thing last season- that there were really, really inept players (and at least one coach) on the team, and everyone was pretending that all was sweetness and light. I know about the code of silence and all that, but there ought to have been someone who called bullpoop and at least at the end of the season named names and swung the axe.

Tuinei has the advantage of size over everyone other than Reaves, I wouldn't discount that in the decision making.   Being able to assist in blocking when the ball is thrown elsewhere is an important skill often overlooked in receivers.

It's possible both make the team in some capacity (one on the PR). I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Willie ends up leaping Tunei (if he hasn't already). Again, it all depends on the games

Who can blame him, he obviously wants to go to the NFL.

Yeah .. just tossing it out there for discussion .. I personally don't think he has the leg or consistency to legitimately compete for a kicking spot down south .. but found the "tone" of the tweet interesting (if nothing else)..

Leg, maybe not. But what makes you question his consistency?

Looking forward to the pre-season games to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Lirim has both the leg and the consistency.  He would be a placekicker down south, likely would not come anywhere near punting.  If he has another year like last year, he's gone.
