I would rather live through a 100-year Roughrider Grey Cup run than a single Leaf Stanley Cup. I feel bad for Peter Horachek, though, because Shanahan hand-picked him to drive the Leafs straight into the iceberg. I was hoping he'd coax a late run out of the team, make them lose some of their McDavid raffle tickets and weaken MLSE's resolve to burn the place down. Shanahan starts the rebuild... by talking to Sean Burke, Asst GM of the second worst team in the league.
