@JDunk12: #CFLCombine instant reaction: #Western DL Daryl Waud used his hands well in 1-on-1s - impressive performance. #CFL

@JDunk12: #Montreal @Carabins LB Byron Archambault's 41 reps on the bench is a #CFLCombine record for a LB (Joash Gesse 33 reps in 2010). #CFL

@CFL: BREAKING: Shaquille Murray-Lawrence of UNLV has broken the #CFLCombine All-Time 40-Yard Dash Record with a time of 4.412 #CFL

I know 4.412 is pretty quick but it seems slow for a record. Didn't a big man, Clowney (DL/LB) run a 4.53 last year at the NFL combine?

Their seconds are worth more.

Man.... I wish I could watch the one one one's.  Why aren't they streaming on anything but Periscope (Nope, I don't have an IPhone).

Mike, nice call on Shaq Murray-Lawrence. Unfortunately it sounds like he pulled his groin in the 40's. Hope it's nothing too serious.

 Byron Archambault

I actually noticed this guy during one of the college playoffs a few months ago. Seemed to be very hard to handle.

Sounds like he ran the 40 with an already injured groin but he's still going to participate in the one on ones.

Looks like Walters was right in getting as many picks as possible in this draft. Seems like 15-20 guys with first round talent in this draft with 4-5 OLs that could easily go first overall. Love how we have 3 picks in the top 15.

@DuaneFordeTSN: REC 40s #CFLCombine Lemar Durant 4.550, Nic Demski 4.556...

Hypothetical, Wauld doesn't get an NFL deal and you know he'll report to camp in 2015, Wauld, OL or receiver at #2?

OL.

thanks for the info, it's interesting to follow.

watching the one on ones and Melvin Abankwah is just killing it

Tevaughn Campbell boosting his stock!

I'd still take Waud at #2 if he's not going NFL.

I'd go Chungh or Groulx at 2 overall. Like what I'm hearing on Chungh so leaning towards him.

Demski really set himself apart physically from the rest of the receivers in the agility drills, probably the most important of the physical tests for receivers. Richards and Durant both struggled.

@garylawless: Kyle Walters says Christian Covington is flat out the best player available in #CFL draft but expects he's going to be an NFL player

@garylawless: Walters says NIc Demski is best receiver available in #cfl draft

I'd go Demski at 2. OL at 11.

I'd go Demski at 2. OL at 11.

Makes sense to me as well.We will still get a good OL prospect at 11 but Demski in my mind will be long gone.

 It's the record since the CFL went to electronic timing (2011), so really it's the fastest in the last 4 years.

My recollection is that only 2 players have run sub 4.4 40's in the history of the CFL combine, so Campbell put himself in elite company regardless of the timing system.

I've been intrigued by Archambault ever since watching him play vs the Bisons in the Vanier semis... I know he went from unranked to around 15.... I wonder if this weekend's performance will put him in the first round... didn't hear much about how he did in one-on-ones... or how much that even matters for LBs.... anyone know anything else about this kid?

I'd really like to see Winnipeg go after Shaq M-L

If they're after a Thunder / Lightning combo in the backfield, he's got a good chance to develop into the lightning half of it. After hearing how impressive his pass-pro skills showed at the combine, I'm thinking he could be an option at 15 for us. Would be curious to see how he is rated now.
