It's all semantics, but it'll essentially be them tearing up the existing contract he had for next year, rewriting it and adding 2 years. More money next year in return for an extra two years of commitment by the player.

I know he was signed to a contract last off season when we traded for him, but no idea what the term was. I assume it was at least 2 years and that he is under contract for next year.
November 14, 201411 yr Yes, I'd love to see him used in a more mainstream role on either defence or offence. I dont necessarily see him as an every down kind of player but he could be used more often to take advantage of his speed.

Nice to get Troy under contract for the foreseeable future. Denmark now Stoudermire ...keep em coming Walters.
November 14, 201411 yr Willy has a contract that goes until the end of next season currently. Would you know until when is Lirim's existing contract? I think they need to extend him for a number of years too. Willy, Lirim and Stoudermire.... Those are Walters guys. Nice!
