If you look back at the end of the season and they bottom out and that leads to change... I am ok with being happy with that... but your quote here clearly says "I hope the Bombers lose" (just so you can't claim I mistook the context)... that's not being a "realist"... that's actively rooting against the team you claim to support...

If a bottoming out happens and leads to change, I'm Ok with that... but I can never watch a Bomber game and cheer against them...

Agreed, but the problem is this already happened... we won in 19 and 21 and apparently decided that was good enough...

A fluke Cup win won't validate anything...other than the b.s idea that this regime has a clue still, so we will be stuck with them and more of the same nonesense....And a win will likely be because the team we played lost their QB and or a few key people

That being said we lost to backup Arbuckle before...Cody Faj...so even then with this crew it's a likely loss too

If we dont make playoffs...or get bounced early....again sadly we will be stuck with these same guys...and wandering around in the void for another yr

I always want a win...dont get me wrong...But I am also realistic and and have a pretty good sense of things and how they work...or should....and we aint going nowhere this yr

I cheer for the organization and the city...Not a HC..or GM so when things go off the rails its time to cut bait...5 consecutive yrs is enough evidence change is needed...And my idea of success obviously differs from most here...cut from a different cloth I guess, cause success in my world is hoisting the trophy at end of yr...anything less is a bust...I know of no player..past..present and in future who will go into the yr saying i hope we look real good all yr and then tank it when the season counts and watch someone else raise the trophy and see that as a success

I'd prefer a Cup too...as I mentioned that is success ...But without changes...I dont see this leadership bringing one anytime soon...Other teams way of doing things...roster makeups...how they play has surpassed our antiquated way and left us in the dust

well...the realist has noticed we have bottomed out 2 yrs ago already...and thats being kind....and we on edge teetering of becoming Ottawa like. So a embarrassing loss...out of playoffs may be the only way to get change, and as a fan I want to see change when things are in the dumps....the surest way to lose fans...and alienate people, and in effect make it hard to bring in talent is just continuing status quo because you had success with this regime over 7 yrs ago

And...if we come out and look unprepared again...in what is essentially a playoff game, and lose to this lineup....and lord help us not embarrasingly, but embarrassing or not...if its a loss...from lack of execution...dumb decisions....unprepared looking...inability to adjust at half time...the head should be chopped of before the Grey Cup

Apparently rehabbing a groin injury which as we know takes forever. Hoping he's much closer to 100% now... And he's still listed as just a back up to Vaval, fwiw.
