It really was Must Win starting last weekend.... Couldn't do it. Now it's 100% for real. Anyone here believe these guys can win 4 games in a row?

The Lions are the sleeper in the West. I think they want to make a statement going into the playoffs & it'll be at our expense. Nathan Rourke has had a bit of a "off"SEASON but id he gets hot they may be the team to beat. The Elks made tremedsous strides this season but I think they may still be a year sway. The Riders have kind of gl.ided thru this season hoping the playoffs will turn on the competitive juices but it looks like they're going to keep struggling. Calgary & Winnipeg at the bottom. If Adsams gets on a run they can do some damage. The problem is as good as the Stamps offense is, their defense is putrid. Defense wins championships. Offense sells tickets. Except if you cheer for the Stamps. the fans here still suck. The Bombers? Meh. Coaching is a big problem. Heads should roll but we all know they won't. Besties don't fire Besties.

BC is hosting the West Semi on Halloween. Friday means Bupkus to them. Why play Rourke, Hatcher, McInnis, Betts, Horvath etc and risk injuries?

Horvath is chasing a couple records - Pringle (rushing TD's) and Milt (total TD's) so maybe they play their starters part of the game, trying to get those. Only reason I could think of.

Their back up QB and Horvath sliced and diced us the last time around.

Maybe but let's say you play Rourke and he gets hurt. Not worth it.

With our defense, his biggest worry would be pulling a hammy after a long run. 😂

Well BC knows If they beat us, they send us home. They also know no matter that it doesn’t matter in their playoff positioning if we come in and beat them we potentially play them again and this time Winnipeg has the momentum it can’t be stated how important it was for winnipeg to beat Calgary in 2019 at the end of the regular season to give them that mindset they can go into McMahon stadium and compete when it mattered. So I’m not expecting an easy game at all. But I will say this. Just win baby. 9-9 Montreal and Toronto took us down in the grey cup. Sometimes playing lose without expectations is a huge advantage. Everyone expects Montreal, Edmonton, And BC to be in the grey cup game, they have to play up to the standards set by others, we just need to compete in see what happens.

Horvath is 3 back of sole position of the TDs record... he really cooled off the last quarter of the season or so. With CFL rosters its hard to sit TOO many people... but I can definitely see Rourke getting a rest, and they might try to get Horvath rested by just having him dress as the 3rd QB effectively, he has run the short yardage package for them all season.

That might be a good thing, provided the Bombers also win.

Winnipeg may have a chance against Toronto as Kelly may not be 100% in time for the Semi-Final.
