He's fumbled/dropped multiple TD's this season, cost the team points. He'd be a fine third option. We basically have decent 2-3-4 receivers, missing the top dog.

Sure they should, just as long as you put the word poor or little in front of value.

Or add village to the end

Yeah I don't hate him as much as some. He has some good moments and some really not so good ones (as most players on this team do). The secondary as a whole seem to be playing better recently.

The removal of Moxy..giving Vaval reps..Williams continuing development...and allowing Texada to stop rotting on the vine of our PR help

Also Smith at SAM been a huge impact as he has a lot of coverage responsibilities and has excelled at it for a bigger dude...just like Griffin was..those 2 together at same time for us hopefully starting next week can be 2019 late season tweek vibes

Might be too late for a run but yeah with those two on the field at the same time and rotating 8 DL it will be the best defensive group we’ve had all year.

They really needed that last game against the Argos.

With a Riders loss last night, a win today would certainly get us closer to the playoffs.

I fully expect us to somehow screw this up.

That 2019 team was young, especially the OL & the team needed a couple of pieces to put it all together which they got. This team is old & deteriorating. We also had a HC & GM that were younger & hungry as well. I think they both worked a lot harder at their jobs back then. Today, they're both just fat & sassy while still living off those 2 back to back Grey Cups. Their contracts never should have been renewed. All we get now is average in every way. Middling. Nothing great. Nothing poor. Just plain average.

Those games we choked away and lost due to our crap coaching...and the ones where we came out of the gate unprepared and outclassed..again from the ho hum lacksidasical approach and poor coaching could really be huge now with that cgy win last night and the who knows wtf looking team comes out today...

"Better" does not mean "good enough".

The standings are a nightmare. Gotta string some wins together cause they're rapidly running out of margin for error.

Tho we will have a game in hand after tonight we in last place right now...and a win tonight...in Mtl..coming off a game we kinda owned them...u can bet your butt mtl is gonna out class us and smoke us. I have zero faith in our coaching after 14 games to expect some kind of coaching excellence to get us a win

We lose ..and then drop another turd at home next week we are likely in next yr land.

And with that being a continuation of the now 5 yr downward trend...time to move on...to expect better next yr from this staff is just blind stupidity..they are what they are...done

So which is it today....heckle orrr jeckyl can't say for sure....Some promising changes to the roster 'could' help but not convinced we have enough to beat the beast in the east....We can't drop any games now when all of the chips are on the table ....I hope we don't leave anything out there today on the field ...We beat them once....can we do it again???

The Argo loss was partly coaching & partly **** happens. The Bombers have also won games due to big returns, it happens

Bad teams rely on the breaks of a game to win.

Hard to expect anything except us getting pants'd today. Next week is likely the must win game of the season.

Yup..needing a big play or break to win..or losing because we gave up one at a critical time isnt what good teams do.

Almost that game was kinda the must win in my opinion..would have gave us a bit of a buffer and seeing as we have the series on sask would have had us ahead of them if they lost..and the game in hand with Stamps still..so we had a little less urgency and some room for error..a bit...now we have none...and to expect us to not toss up a steamy pile..or 2 with the games left in front of us doesn't look too promising based on what we have witnessed the first 14 games

My gut says end to 10 wins or more run..playoff appearance..and a likely last place in West finish..basically a continue of the 5 yr trend of less wins...place in standings..and when we lose in playoffs to the absolute bottom of where we can go..Last place...under 500...and the good chance that 2027 is more of same with no shift/change in coaching...if peoples eyes were open and they put aside their "yeah butts" they'd have seen it plain as day..I did..I said it..and people laughed and said I was full of **** and lacked credibility..not a "i told ya so" kinda guy...but I told ya

I didn't laugh or disagree. never did wbbfan or Mike. As well as others. The 5 straight grey Cup crowd wailed it would be unfair to fire Osh &/or Walters. Well, y'all got what you wanted.

Gonna be a loooonnng night.

any one not watching this one should stay away

We just can't compete with Montreal. That Stevie Scott dude is 235 lbs of muscle & quickness. The Als OL is maybe the best in the CFL. The receivers totally outclass us. If you really want to see where we stand as a team, it's at receiver. That's where the difference is.

Onterria Wilson had a great game but he's just one player. The entire Als receiving corps played outstanding. We also had no answer for Philpott. He murdered us.All game long.

Defensively, why do we keep playing a 3 man front especially on the goal line? Scott sauntered in from 9 yards out as it looked like the C gap was uncovered. Why the .... does Younger insist on a 3 man front? We needed to blow up the Als OL & get physical. Instead we stayed in a passive 3 man front & Alexander had all kinds of time to carve up our secondary. The decision making & playcalling of our O & D Coordinators defies description. The overall team speed of the Als is scary compared to us. They are indeed The Greatest Show On Turf. I don't know who can beat them when they're healthy. Certainly not us. We have no chance. Okay, we got lucky a month or so ago. That won't happen again.

I don't know how the Bombers can climb to the top of the mountain with the GM & HC that we have. A decade agao they had something to prove. They were young & full of piss & vinegar. Now, the way things are, we're just being left behind.

He had a great play and then dropped a gimmie the qb dropped right into his arms.

Actually thought the Als OL struggled quite badly in this game, even with Jefferson only really being out there in spirit and not in body. Alexander was on the run all night, could barely set up in pocket. Of course we don't contain at all to the field (Jefferson).

Bailed out a lot by receivers, Alexander and Bomber defensive penalties.

The more I watch that guy play the more I believe he can't be more than your #3 receiver on a good team with his ball security issues. Very lucky on one of the screens tonight too to be called down when he fumbled. I don't think he'll be around for 10+ years in pro football unless that changes quickly.

Wilson also had another nice catch. Receivers do drop the ball. **** happens. Even Philpott does occasionally. Wilson was our best player on offense & he paled in comparison to the entire Als receiving corps. We just looked not one but 2 or 3 steps behind.

Don't know what game you watched. Almost 600 yards of total offense including 441 yards passing. The Als weren't struggling.

If that was a one off for Wilson sure but he hasn't been sure handed this year

Their OL did not do a great job of protecting their QB.

Back to what I actually said.
