I like Lapo as a broadcaster, I still think with experience and coaching he can really help build our game from that space.

I don't think the space of a positional support coach is big enough to hold his ego and need for control. 🙂

I do love him in that role. I wish they’d make him a permanent fixture in the booth/panel for each game.

Any predictions on who are first signing will be?

wow, i thought he shifted away from formally working, guess not, probably missed it.

Too bad for him the Argos suck.

A consultant? Fans in Calgary thought Huff was already that with the Stamps doing it from his home in Flrida semi retired. Dave Dickenson is now Da Man in Calgary. Good luck.

Now that's interesting....

I can see where the Argos would love to have him. He is the only guy who was able to keep Murphy in check and that will be huge for the Argos.

Gonna be WJ...Bryant...Nichols...Lawson...3 of 4 back loaded on 2025 money for less a 2026 hit

hell no hahah....I think the "braintrust" has finally come around

But thats my inclination how it goes down with the vet incumbents...maybe not in that exact order per say....but the way it will go for pre- FA signings to consume what we failed to spend in 2025 and saved on 6 game

Yeah, he is good. Both Forde & Suitor should retire.

I see Luke Wilson is doing tv commercials now. He pissed off a lot of people with his comments on TSN & then on X this past season. However, people are tuning in to see & hear what he has to say. He needs to be on the panel permanently. He's become quite the personality.

Personally, I can’t stand Wilson.  Dude is crazy annoying.

Interesting.  Guy was really productive after switching from the O line.

Really a monster final year, first year post transfer is pretty meh. The film in that article is interesting.

The good, extremely successful position change, very productive final year, better runner than you’d expect, big lean interior dl, has great instincts ability to read the play and gets off the line fast, has good hands too.

The bad, he wins battles from the nose with finesse not power. He often used the same rip/swim into the A gap and just walked by a c and a guard. Mostly relies on shoulder check hits not good form tackles.

The ugly, the level of competition on those ols looks real bad. He doesn’t look explosive or use power much. He looks like a big hs senior playing a bad jv team. Even for a d3 conference, it looks bad.

I can see the fit as a guy who rushes the passer from a 3 tech spot (he’s not a cfl nose) if his slippery play and violent hands are as effective up here.

So you're saying as long as he's lined up against Kolankowski, he should be fine?

Onln negative I see is he's a D3 player so what kind of OL competition did he line up against? You can't tell that in the video.

Any thoughts on a guy like Kurleigh Kittens Jr. Pending FA, pretty good NI WR. Likely cheaper than Emilus or McInnis.

Maybe someday we can strike out the "U" and put a "C" there? ;)

How about this Eberhardt kid in BC .....The guy is like a vacuum cleaner ....just takes in everything thrown his way....might be a bargain there
