we’ve been stuck in a cycle of one dimensional drafts. We invest a ton at a position then don’t again for several years.

Yea, we haven't had a high draft pick in a long time...finishing first in the league kinda does that to you...that and other teams poaching our NI talent...comes with the winning territory.

Demski listed as GTD. No Wheatfall. Woods still on. From what I can see, same line up as last week!!

I was wrong....they replaced the best cover guy Houston with the often injured Parker...that I don't like. I wasn't a huge fan of the houston signing but he has essentially been lights out since coming on board. Parker was ok in his time before injury but not as good as houston has been. _ _ _ _ _ _ Apparently Houston is dealing with a family matter

Demerio Houston not starting from what I can see... That's a change from last week. And Woods listed as a starting DT instead of just Lawson and Thomas.

Dumb. The best game from your secondary in forever and you make changes that dont need to be made. Stupid decision but that is nothing new from O'Shea.

Apparently Houston missed some practices due to a family emergency. He's not even listed on the depth chart so I would assume he's still dealing with that.

Fair enough. I feel better now. Im not a huge Houston fan but he has been excellent. Hope he gets back in when he's back.

Houston is listed as out. Only explanation for that is he’s still dealing with his family emergency. Nothing else would make sense, he’s been playing very well.

Oh wow, really strange they’d take him off then. I can’t see an on field reason for it, he’s been great. 

Likely O'Shea and the old "cant lose your job to an injury" garbage mantra.

Maybe the family issue Houston thought was good when he came back, turned and he had to leave again?  Not necessarily a conspiracy or underlying concern.

Parker is gonna get hurt again anyways. He plays a game then gets hurt. The cycle repeats. Personally I think he’s been terrible even when healthy and I’d be dressing Houston also because past history suggests Parker will be injured again. Plus Houston is just better than Parker. I get they like JP. He stuck around when hurt and immersed himself into learning the playbook and all sorts of other stuff, they like him, it’s a nice story there, overcoming being out a year really but unfortunately he’s not good enough anymore. He’s looked lost when playing. Go back Early season he was not good at all, corners sucked until basically Houston and Lawson jr were brought in. Parker played corner a few games. Wasn’t an upgrade.

We do but apparently he hasn't genuflected enough yet.
