Maybe earlier in the season, but O'Shea has always operated that if you're a vet you've paid your dues and earned some benefits. With a guy like Neufeld no one on the team will doubt his commitment to the team. Every one on the oline plays through a lot even if it's on one leg. Bigblue204 1

I have no idea what the locker room dynamics are with the BB’s, the real stuff that goes on, the good and the bad and how all of this has facilitated and/or not facilitated their objective of being a championship team. All we do here is look from the outside and wonder or speculate based on the little we know (unless of course one has credible inside sources who minimize their bias’s when sharing that intel). This is the stuff I find interesting.

This is the stuff I find interesting. There is not a single person on this forum that can truthfully say they have any insight on the inner dynamics of the Blue Bombers dressing room. Not one member. There may be guys on this forum that occasionally might hear this and that but the source would have to be a disgruntled and unprofessional player, and therefore not a true representation of the locker room at all. No player with even an ounce of professionalism or commitment to the team would comment anything to anybody outside the confines of the locker room. PERIOD. 1 hour ago, HardCoreBlue said: You're right but aren't vets suppose to lead the way i.e., first guy out there last guy to leave? Every single team in the CFL and even NFL uses vet cards but we do it and somehow our HC should be fired. What a nothing burger. bb1, Tracker, Piggy 1 and 1 other 1 1 1 1

Goalie Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago In 2025 with social media it’s definitely debatable

Sure, a player or coach isn’t going to blab to some random fan asking a bunch of questions, but having known front office people and a few players throughout the years, they absolutely do give insight into their team. There has to be trust involved, but it definitely happens. Piggy 1 and Bigblue204 1 1

Going to be a big adjustment for this team. no meaningless games to end the season, no bye week, decent chance of no home play off game. Going to have to peak and keep it up. Pedal to the metal time. And a guy like Neufeld, whose number one issue is staying healthy and ready to go for the long haul of playoffs.... Who ******* cares about one day of practice? Winning teams and players who give a damn do....thats who Practice is a joke compared to when they still mattered....90's...early 2000's....but still...there's lots to be accomplished and woked on...and we tend to minimize and not even do basic stuff that tends to get rusty and laxidasical and it has shown here of late We too ensconsed in the country club it will all work out attitide...ciz it did yrs ago....needs to be rebooted or the slow slide will continue....and its speeded up a lot in 2 yrs 8 hours ago, Pete said: Big deal, ita not like hes gonna miss out on learning a new bunch of new schemes good teams...sucesfil one instal and do work on new things...different looks late in yr and in playoffs....you have to.....so that comment actually is kinda baseless...no offence bud....but...that being said how we do it here it is reasonable for someone to say that...cause...well we slack a lot

Goalie Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Most guys likely playing through minor perhaps even more than minor injuries. Demski definitely been banged up this year so no issue giving guys who are likely a bit to more than a bit banged up a day or 2.

Fastest way to be shunned by your team mates is by talking dressing room with people outside the dressing room. I would bet big dollars that applies even more under FIFO. Players may talk to outsiders but it's more of them just kind of telling them whatever they wanna hear vs, the truth. If a guy loves the coach, the player will praise him. If the guy hates the coach. the player will go along with it. It isn't the truth. It's just a player, a lot of times, just humoring a fan. 18 hours ago, Arnold_Palmer said: Interested to see if Wheatfall gets back into the line up after the best game of the season from Zach. There has to be trust involved, but it definitely happens. Insight....sure. They will not privately criticize their team or team mates outside the dressing room or give a lot away about locker room dynamics. Just doesn't happen. I won't name names, but during the Mike Kelly days, I had a former player who was a daily customer of mine at my sports bar. We got to know each other very well, he would come to my house couple times a week even for beers. He would talk about the team, but never in much detail and very diplomatically. If he had something bad to say he just wouldn't say it and he told me as much. He was a professional and this is ingrained in being a professional. He ended up on another CFL team during Kelly's reign, and when he came back to town he stopped in. That is when the truth came out. It was shocking because what he told me I would never have guessed from the hours I spent with him talking. They are extremely guarded and protective of the dressing room. If they aren't the leaders of the team will take them to task. If that doesn't work you usually see them down the road.
