Absolutely delusional. I’d almost guess whatever he says post game is the opposite of how he feels but he’s not gonna throw someone under the bus but also I’ll bet O’Shea throws better than Streveler. 17to85 Posted September 13 Report Posted September 13 There was one play a guy got a hand on his shoulder as he threw but that's all I can recall

I didn’t listen to it but did he least mention that no one should feel comfortable no one should feel safe in how things are going including him and his coaching staff and if things need to be changed they will be. That I think would be an appropriate statement to share publicly if he has high expectations of himself and his team.

Yeah...we have 3 ends....and even woodbey is good off edge...and Jake was out there at least 4 times And the sets with him on nose and 2 ends wide out...like wtf...may as well just used 2 ends and dropped one of our 17 linebackers into the middle flat 30 minutes ago, HardCoreBlue said: I didn’t listen to it but did he least mention that no one should feel comfortable no one should feel safe in how things are going including him and his coaching staff and if things need to be changed they will be. I’m sorry and know i shouldn’t be focussing on a low tier player like JT but lining him up at end should be against the law. wowzers.

He gets enough reps inside doing nothing...and then stick him outside where he has no hope. You need hands kills...speed...be able to bend and get under a tackle ...run a force...dent and disrupt and get off to engage a ball carrier All that is not in his repetoire

Willie just backpedals or shifts over and goes for the knockdown most of the time, Vaughters doesn’t get much pressure at all and everyone else pretty much bull rushes with not much success. WJ can...he is good at the dent too but like u said at times after just looks for the knockdown...now is that what they want him to do? Contain or hold his spot and try making qb beat our stupid 9 guys in coverage in a soft zone and knock ones down? I'm almost thinking so Garbutt was good at it...but we let him walk for who knows why If you wanna go and see good instruction and details about dline play go check out...as @Goalie says...one my "boys" website... Craig Roh....RIP brother...and then see what our cdn duds lack in the middle Edited September 14 by Booch BigBlueFanatic 1

Craig Roh....RIP brother...and then see what our cdn duds lack in the middle I hope it’s this, I’d hate to think his pass rushing skill and/or effort fell off that fast. Like look how he played in the 19 and 24 GC’s. Either he doesn’t want to do that all the time or it’s what you said and it’s schemed that way. The 19 GC is one of my all time favourite sequences in a Bomber game. Where for some reason Ticats have Brandon Banks of all people try to chip him. WJ knocks Banks spinning into next week, kills Evans, takes a RTP, then next play kills Evans again for a strip sack. The game was ours from then on Also yes RIP Craig Roh. From what I heard just an all around great person. Tragic. Booch and BigBlueFanatic 2

Which is why he can leave it all out there in a Grey cup but not every week. Need more depth to keep guys fresh and able to go hard HardCoreBlue 1

Bomberguy Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 2 hours ago, Booch said: ring of honour sure....no doubt....as soon as he can be eligible Statue....i dunno...Bud Grant was a totally different cat Grant won 4 Grey Cups of the 6(?) he coached in his CFL career. Best ever Grey Cup record for a Bombers coach. He certainly deserves the statue. Interesting though, I was listening to some Minnesota fans question why Grant doesn’t merit the same (a statue) outside of US Bank Stadium. The common analysis seemed to be that while Bud was a great coach and led his team to 4 Super Bowls, his team losing all 4 seems to be the reason why it’s not been done yet, whether that’s true or not. Likewise, while Osh has 2 Grey Cups, there has been a considerable drop off in the team’s performance in Grey Cup games and now in the regular season. So much so that many here and possibly in the fan base seem to be calling for him and the management to be replaced as soon as the team can. Time will tell, but if the team starts to flounder next year and in the next few seasons (which to be fair is common in sports), there will definitely be a massive change in sentiment towards our current coach. I can’t see there being any momentum at all in that direction if that occurs.

Garbutt was a scrub and is doing nothing in Hamilton too. The guy has 4 sacks in his career. He was exactly the kind of guy we needed to let walk and upgrade. The problem most certainly isn't letting scrubs like Garbutt and Fox go. The problem is when we let scrubs go we aren't able to even upgrade over that.
