  • And they frequently take game day off as well

  • He’s got a similar disregard for outsiders, and a similar stubborn arrogance. He hasn’t gone full kelly though and I don’t think he ever would. he’s also earned far more as a hc than kelly up here.

If anyone cares, the Bombers play in Hamilton on Friday.

lmao he’s our 2nd lber, the 3rd and 4th man in run fits are both dbs. We don’t have another run stopper. Kyrie is only able to make stops if he’s in blocked and the runner hits his gap. that’s not being a good run stopper. Kyrie has zero ability to disengage from a block, or win a battle. Even against none linemen.

There will never be a 4 lber set again, here or else where in the cfl. we don’t even employ a 3 lber look at any point this year.

dt just put the biggest jinx on kyrie ever

Rewatch some games, Kyrie is the guy hitting the back as he hits the line of scrimmage, dbs have more tackles mainly means that passes have been completed in their area. I dont get the criticism of our lbs, they are the one area we are strong

I don't need to, do you know how to evaluate film, understand front/techs, and run fits? Because it sounds like you watch without understanding how to watch and what's actually happening.

Kyrie has had 1 good run-stopping game this year and 11 run stops all year. The D is funneled to Jones, and Kyrie only gets to run gaps if they happen right in front of him and he doesn't get picked up.

Just watch the labor day game, 5 dt, 7 defensive plays including a huge pass knockdown, and a forced fumble.

So if Nichols can’t play it’s Houston coming on and Lawson Jr at half?

Eventually some of you old dudes will admit you don’t know as much as you pretend. They ain’t gonna listen to you. Accept it.

boy we are getting less healthy as we go.

Wonder if makonzo is close. be nice to have him on the back end of the roster as a guy who can actually contribute on 5-10 defensive snaps a game.

that’d be soo hilarious and fitting if we did that in game.

Id like to see oyelola get a look on the back end of the roster. we could use bailey more, but oyelolas dynamic athleticism and what 2-3 years of nfl coaching. could be interesting on teams to see if he’s turned a corner.

Believe we cut Oyelola already.

Curious ...define old?....how old are you?...are you an old timer? 🙂

And is Osh considered old to you? Honest question

and kept Weitz....stupendous....wonder what Osh's reasoning/justification for that is? Like truly am...not trying to be all smart-alecky....

Streveler in with the 1s today.

I was curious about BC's defense and they're giving up 265 passing yards a game this year, which honestly makes Streveler's 246 look a little less stellar to me. If you take out the game against Montreal's third and 4th stringer, the 2 against Tre Ford and the one against Maier, its 305+ versus team's starters. My point is yeah he was good in that game but against a bad D.

Damn. After watching that O’Shea interview it’s beyond obvious that if Zach can play Osh will play him. This is part of the problem. Hey Osh it is our business how Zach is doing cuz last week you played a dude on a torn ACL and in the cup game you played 3 injured players. It is our business. Dudes become a smug ass.

Yes Osh needs to go. Watching his interview it’s apparent he needs to go.

missed his interview....tho I tend to not watch his as he says nothing other than the same ol same ol...and his attitude at times is quite the turnoff

BTW in response to my question...I am a  yr and half younger than Osh so is he the old timer??.... 😁

I'm having fun with you btw but I am younger......Not Jordan Younger....but younger lol

Coach is sounding a bit “Mike Kellyesque” at the moment (for us old timers), but that may be a bit cavalier of me.

I don’t think you can really stack up the lions then future performances vs other teams to reduce the production in our first game of the year. Things change a lot when film is sufficient and rosters change.

Strev played well enough to have that game well in hand.

If you want depressing strev stats though, he has 4 total games with 200 yards passing or more. 2 of those games he had more picks than tds. 1 of those games was 300 yards or more and that was one of the games with more picks than TDS. Or that in 18 he had 5 games with more passing tds than ints. Since the end of 18, he’s had 2 games with more tds than ints.

What, the WBB club doesn't listen to our wisdom? Shocked.

The depressing Strev stats for me are:

He is 9/17 on passes more than 20 yards in the air and his total yardage on those plays is... 198. 5 of them are TDs so they won't count some yardage, but that is the lowest average of yards per pass at that depth in the league... Collaros has 20 completions on passes that distance for 742 yards which is about 37 yards per completion!

Collaros also has 6 runs of 10+ yards to Strevelers 1.

He also is the only QB in the league who has multiple interceptions in the red zone. His INT percentage when he gets within the 20 is 28.5%. The next two closest are Masoli at 11% and Crum at 6.7%

Yeah he is not a cerebral guy on the field.  Writing cheques his arm never could cash and his body can't anymore either.

Eh I mean that is depressing, but that is also a large product of the system he's been played in. We run the check down install from matt nichols days aside from option fake option and qb fake junk.

Haha! I'm not surprised that the run stat is in zachs favor, but by that much is just funny. Crazy legs collaros been watching those old mike vick highlights.
