We’ve seen change at wr, we’ve seen change at ol and qb. If we change hogan we would instantly know where the roster actually stood.
Dump kola, and bring in one more wr and I bet you see a lot of improvement.

Yeah...I agree with this

This season was over before even started the moment we signed Jake Thomas in January well before free agency. He sucks

Brings absolutely nothing to the team

The money they used on him could have gone to an impact player we let walk away

Money not an issue there.  If they sign a rookie they maybe save $20,000 in that spot.

Stupid to let Lawler walk.

If we want to complain about money...look at Mitchell.  His money plus a rookie salary = Lawler.  We have 2 starting receivers on rookie salaries anyways.  No financial barrier to keeping Lawler.

My god I’m trying to listen to Bonfire postgame for the first time and this is rough. I don’t always agree with Darrin but he’s trying to hold it together and debating with this Schnitzer guy is a challenge.

So what's the mid season solution?  I can't imagine them firing Hogan and replacing him with Jarious Jackson.

They have no trade bait to make a big deal.

Apparently my idea of giving Strev the keys for 5 games to see if he's worth keeping around isn't a good idea.

What do they do?

Bauming is way too much of a "other teams can make plays too" style analyst.  Uses that as an excuse for horrifically poor Bomber play.

You can't let a guy like Lawler walk and not replace him.

Sure but this other guy sounds like you combined me and Noeller and then fed the result thirty IPAs

Nobody they could sign in the offseason would be as talented as Lawler.  All they did was save money.

I resemble that remark.

Honestly his takes on the games are way more accurate than Bauming's.

Bauming sounds like what people complain Ed Tait is....all while say "just being objective."

Only if you can pay some roster spots $0.  Math doesn't math if you're paying replacements.

Of course...but that's bad money spent...I'm sure you could use that money for 4 better players...or one real difference maker and a legit rookie

We really don't even need Thomas on team with 3 other Canadian DT...we really only need 2..so even more money available to be spread elsewhere

What do they do?

Best case scenario;

demote or fire hogan promote Jackson. I think un officially making that change behind closed doors is most realistic.

Move on from kola, by hook or by crook.

get pookie back from the nfl

Make some thing happen at qb. We need a shake to the roster. Doesn’t mean starter has to change but we need some one to push our guys. Faj*,mbt etc.

get rid of Jake, dress woods and adams.

dump atleast one ar lber di.

stop playing dbs that only provide a handy cap to the D.

Take the team back to boot camp. Practice and week of prep needs to be competitive and demanding. No more old boys club, no more vet days, no more practices that are just walk throughs. You will never get a D to be physical and tackle well with slack ass prep. Same goes for skill players on offence blocking.

That's a good start...and looking forward...not back to 2019-2021

Promoting Jackson is probably the only real change we could make at this point. Until we get Wilson back I guess

If you replaced all those guys with rookies you'd have low six figures saved.  So like basically the difference between signing Vaughters or starting a rookie DE there.

Them being here doesn't stop them from signing other guys.

Personally I don't love the whining about coulda woulda shoulda.... I get it... We've beaten that to death.

There's nothing you can do to go back and fix the past. I'm much more interested in how we fix it NOW....

They suck tho...so that money can be better used..and rookies if need be can play too...everyone was a rookie at some point
