Birds @ Horses Week 8 GDT

Dustin & Suitor talking up Spieker's big game last week ... seem to have forgotten his nightmare fourth quarter.

Stamps success on the field has not translated in the stands once again tonight, looks like a really poor crowd

Does ZC make that play...not anymore...Likely sacked...or rushes a pic

GG is so wishy washy, I thought he caught, doesn't look like he caught, live it looked like he caught it

Alford's injury looks like a hamstring pull.

VA is the most annoying personality in the league.

Just makes his yearly nose dive that more enjoyable

Als are showing what happens when you do not pressure the opposing QB.

sucks that Alford is hurt.  Another promising talent sidelined

woof, Spieker has been horrible in the 4th quarter for two straight games now.  opposite of clutch.

Stamps with some significant injuries tonight

The horseshoe isn't on the foot for Calgary this year.  It's up the horse's butt.

Loony toonz does throw a good ball tho all things considered

Wow help out the kicker a bit

Never mind

Als pull it off. Wow.

I don’t think god or Jesus like VA talking about them so much. Always gets injured. Maybe gods way of humbling the man. I’m not sure. As a fan hate to see it but it seems inevitable every season that most slash all starters will get hurt and miss time. It’s a problem.

He's durable and can throw and doesn't take that many unnecessary sacks.  With the right receiving group he can move the ball.

A good veteran backup

Good to know when adversity hits, Vern will still retreat to the sidelines for a little cry with the towel pulled over his head.

Both our qbs look terrible when they play. We have an aging starter in Zach Collaros whose skills are eroding & a backup in Chris Streveler coming off major knee surgery & who played a brutal game in relief last week. Despite our last two shitty games, we have posters constantly throwing shade on qbs like Fajardo, Kelly, Bethel-Thompson, Harris, Rourke, Mitchell & Vernon Adams. Unless things change. most if not all of those qbs that are always being mocked here will be in the playoffs while we may be on the outside looking in.

Whoever disagrees with me can go "Ewwww", "Ohhh", Geez" & laugh all they want but I'll take any of those other qbs over the two we have now. Walters & Osh let our qb position get old with their skills diminished. Collaros was a great qb in 2021 or 2022 but he's struggled since. It didn't have to be that way. We let Dru Brown get away. Since then, it appears that we haven't got another young promising qb coming up.

Our GM & HC also let our receivers wither away to the point that they are now the worst receiving corps in the league. A huge failure by The Trinity to replace receivers they let leave. Yet, here we are as a fanbase constantly making fun of other teams qbs when we are clearly a team on the decline.

So, you're mocking a guy who was bitterly disappointed he had to come out of a game with a head injury??? Probably stressed out that this could be a longer term injury. You somehow see that as a sign of weakness rather than strength? Sorry, I'll take a fighter like Vaj every day of the week & twice on Sundays as wherever he went he was loved by his teammates. Had the owner in BC not wanted Rourke back last season thinking he'd sell more tickets then Adams probably would have won the CFL's MOP Award, thrown for over 6,000 yards & quarterbacked the Lions to a Grey Cup.

To be fair emotional responses like that are a symptom of concussions....

Injuries in football are so much a part of the game and always dictate how seasons go. It’s possible to weather them but it takes a special team. We’ll see how special the Stamps are without their two star (so far this season) players.
