2025 CFL (Non-Bombers) Season

From 3DN about TSN broadcasts this year....

"The CFL on TSN is taking a renewed approach to its broadcasts for 2025.

The network’s panel will travel to all nine stadiums over the course of the upcoming season, sources told 3DownNation, including visits to Regina and Montreal in Week 1. Kate Beirness is returning to host the panel with Henoc Muamba and Davis Sanchez filling the main roles alongside her.

Paul LaPolice will also frequently appear on the panel, though he will also perform colour commentary for one game per week. As previously reported, longtime panelist and Hall of Fame quarterback Matt Dunigan is no longer with the network.

As for Milt Stegall, who has been with the network since 2009, there is no timeline for his return after the death of his eldest son, Chase. The 20-year-old died unexpectedly at DePaul University on Monday where he was a member of the school’s soccer team.

“Our CFL on TSN family is absolutely devastated over Chase’s passing. If you know Milt, you know that his family is everything to him, and we cannot imagine the pain he is going through right now,” said producer Chris Edwards in a statement to 3DownNation. “Milt is our brother and we are going to give him our love and support him in any way we can, and in whatever way he needs.”

During a broadcast teeing up the 2025 season on Tuesday, TSN dedicated its coverage this year to Chase’s memory.

TSN plans to flesh out the panel by rotating in active players, though it doesn’t appear as though this will happen every week. Players will generally make panel appearances during bye weeks, though there may also be opportunities for in-studio appearances when players are in town to play the Argonauts or Tiger-Cats.

Friday Night Football, a longtime network staple, will have a brand new presentation featuring fresh animations, graphics, and music. One source called the scope of the production “bigger.”

The play-by-play personnel at the network has remained unchanged for 2025, featuring Rod Smith, Dustin Nielson, Marshall Ferguson, and occasionally Farhan Lalji. Colour commentary will be performed by Glen Suitor, Duane Forde, and LaPolice."

Honestly the main selling point of the CFL are the timing rules of the final 3 minutes.  And arguably the most boring part of any NFL game when a team with a one score lead can just bleed the clock un

It's because going to games is FUN and reasonable priced. It's a meeting spot for the millenials and younger.

Wade should be the CFL commissioner

I'm not sure what group you fall into... but many people seem to forget how old millenials are now... majority of millenials are beyond, or pushing 40 already...

Ha, I'm 33

It's a meeting spot for friends of mine. Tail gaiting too. Every game

That's called culture fellas and it's been built well here. The Bombers can afford a few poor performance seasons on the field and still have good attendance I believe

I agree... I'm not concerned about this dip and whatever happens the next month, I'm excited about the future of this franchise.

To me, there's no reason that this can't be done at most franchises. The Bombers had solid support even through the dry years sure, but what we've seen under Wade has been nothing short of excellence.

You can't tell me that the same model can't be built in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal

Looks like BC is in the early stages of building culture

Calgary is trying... But they desperately need a new stadium. But their President (Jay McNeil) very specifically went to Wade and said "What do we do?" And Wade showed them exactly what he did, and they're attempting to replicate it on a sort of Temu-scale.... If they get a new stadium one day, they might be able to do something.

Montreal is averaging 21000 a game so for them not too bad.

Support for the Als is a klm long & a cm deep. Fans will show up as long as they win.

No one in calgary is going to spend money on a football stadium, especially not after they ****** us over bad on the arena.

The stadium situation really is dissapointing. Even as a fan of the CFL I can't say id be thrilled to be attending games their on the reg

It's honestly awful, lol and makes the team and league look bad

With our new mayor just elected last week, there'll be no new football stadium built for the Stamps. If it's ever condemned, we'll lose the team.

It's so bad... Like really really awful. By far the worst in the league. And I've had local people tell me... Like recently.... That "it's a GREAT place to watch a ball game..."

Nobody wants to spend a penny on a new barn. They're stuck with that **** hole.

Fans in calgaary have no idea juSt how much a new stadium can enhance the football experience. We don't have any form of pro baseball. Only a small elite can afford Flames season tickets.

Ah, you’re one of those young whipper snapper millennials 🤣… us old millennials just watch the game and go home immediately after because it’s already past our bedtime…

But I do 100% agree with your point… just bugging you.

You forgot to tell him to stay the Hell off your lawn.

I’m sadly at a point of believing the CFL is on a descent to irrelevance steeper than any time in the history of the league.  And I have no faith in really any of the leadership including Wade Miller to get the nose of the plane back up.

There’s 2 of 9 markets that are stable and able to pay their bills from operations.  The core fan base is in decline and there’s really no broad strategy to change that other than bastardizing the sport and moving it more and more to being a spring league.  All things that kill the brand rather than build it.

Time moves fast man. Started posting on ob.com at 13 years

Have been posting on bomber forums for 20 years. Just letting that sink in now

I too prefer watching the games from the home

Go bombers!!!

Really needed your special brand of positivity on a day like today ... When did you give TBurg access to your account?

Someone help me explain a pet peeve of mine. So like, Vernon Adams Junior is only "junior" because his name is Vernon, right? If he had a brother named Dingleberry, he would just be Dingleberry Adams. It's the "Vernon" that makes him junior.

So why the hell hell does it say Adams Jr on his jersey? His last name is Adams!!!

**** bugs me and I don't know why. And yes I am aware that all juniors put it on their backs but that doesn't make it right dammit!

I've been to 6/9 current stadiums.

Calgary and Edmonton are the bottom, but Calgary becomes a place to not watch a game because of the stadium. By far the worst.

From a pure stadium perspective, BC is my favorite place to watch a game. Winnipeg is second.

The three I haven't been to are Toronto, Montreal and Regina
