2025 CFL (Non-Bombers) Season

From 3DN about TSN broadcasts this year....

"The CFL on TSN is taking a renewed approach to its broadcasts for 2025.

The network’s panel will travel to all nine stadiums over the course of the upcoming season, sources told 3DownNation, including visits to Regina and Montreal in Week 1. Kate Beirness is returning to host the panel with Henoc Muamba and Davis Sanchez filling the main roles alongside her.

Paul LaPolice will also frequently appear on the panel, though he will also perform colour commentary for one game per week. As previously reported, longtime panelist and Hall of Fame quarterback Matt Dunigan is no longer with the network.

As for Milt Stegall, who has been with the network since 2009, there is no timeline for his return after the death of his eldest son, Chase. The 20-year-old died unexpectedly at DePaul University on Monday where he was a member of the school’s soccer team.

“Our CFL on TSN family is absolutely devastated over Chase’s passing. If you know Milt, you know that his family is everything to him, and we cannot imagine the pain he is going through right now,” said producer Chris Edwards in a statement to 3DownNation. “Milt is our brother and we are going to give him our love and support him in any way we can, and in whatever way he needs.”

During a broadcast teeing up the 2025 season on Tuesday, TSN dedicated its coverage this year to Chase’s memory.

TSN plans to flesh out the panel by rotating in active players, though it doesn’t appear as though this will happen every week. Players will generally make panel appearances during bye weeks, though there may also be opportunities for in-studio appearances when players are in town to play the Argonauts or Tiger-Cats.

Friday Night Football, a longtime network staple, will have a brand new presentation featuring fresh animations, graphics, and music. One source called the scope of the production “bigger.”

The play-by-play personnel at the network has remained unchanged for 2025, featuring Rod Smith, Dustin Nielson, Marshall Ferguson, and occasionally Farhan Lalji. Colour commentary will be performed by Glen Suitor, Duane Forde, and LaPolice."

Honestly the main selling point of the CFL are the timing rules of the final 3 minutes.  And arguably the most boring part of any NFL game when a team with a one score lead can just bleed the clock un

It's one thing to bet on games you had no direct influence on.  It's something entirely different to bet on games you were actively involved in and had a hand in the outcome - it calls into question the integrity of the game and the league.  Terrible decision.

agreed. Though I've always thought athletes should be able to bet for themselves. Not against obviously.

A 36 year old DE to pair with two DEs who are 34 and 32, what are we trying to do field a team for the senior's league?🤣

Or he can coach proper contain techniques - was a master at that.

Walls was such an exceptional de, and guy. He might be the most under rated defensive player in bomber history.
He could coach dl, or SnC. One of the most incredible all around athletes we’ve seen. I know some guys who worked with him on a rig and what he was physically capable of was un real.
He’s on the top 4 bomber dl all time for me.

He would make us better, by way of rotating the other old heads and being a better pass rusher than either of our guys.
But he is the last dl guy we should look at.

We do a great job of finding dt talent, but man we have not done the job at de.
I hate that we didn’t bring in any during the bye week. That’s a great chance to bring some air lifts in and evaluate.

Lemon back with the Als.

Shocking.

Bombers gonna be 3rd after Sask wins tonight. Changes required. At this point cuz we got the season series against BC it’s gonna be us vs Sask in the western semi in Sask. and in a hosting the cup year that’s gotta be a fail.

As long as Rourke is playing against Edmonton he’s pretty good

Kyle Walters better start general mangering now as he did nothing this past off season except sign a bunch of free agent scrubs for the most part while the real talent left. But hey, he saved a ton of cash on the team's bottom line. For that, we thank you Kyle. Said no Bomber fan, ever.

Save for Logan...Mitchell and J.Jones it was the ultimate scrap heaping fiasco...that includes some of our re-upping of guys

And the 3 guys who could help us the most havnt seen the roster...one from injury...one for no reason other than T.Jones being here already and an Osh boner maker...and the other highest paid one for who knows why...they give a weak excuse that doesn't make sense and I don't believe....so ya...stellar offsesson when hosting the Cup

Difference is this year, half the QBs aren’t 38.

Kyle does need to wake up and imo needs to take action to justify an extension. It’s much easier to replace a gm in the cfl than a hc, especially with the guys we have. And while a lot deserves to be on mos plate, Walters as his boss is responsible for his failings too. I don’t think Walter’s will replace mos so I think the hot seat will pass to him.

Walters used to be one of the sharpest GM's in the CFL a few years ago. He was aggressive & took chances. He wasn't afraid to spend money & he had a lot of success. Lately, the past few years it's not even been close. We just can't have this kind of complacency by Walters or MOS. As far as Osh goes, some of his comments & decisions are like he lives in the 4th dimension. Things need to change.
