It is obvious that Hogan is a goner, but this process seems very....clumsy and unprofessional.

How so? How is it clumsy and unprofessional. What does that even mean. His contract has expired. The season is over.

Hogan's gone. It couldn't be more apparent. Several media reports from several media people and teams reporting that the Bombers have asked permission to talk to members of their staff about the job. I don't expect the Bombers to fly a banner behind a plane announcing it. They are classier than that. They are not doing this for optics. To do such a thing would be absolutely moronic and unprecedented in pro sports really.

How is it apparent? Until an official announcement comes down the pike, nothing has changed.

He’s done. I mean how many insiders need to say it.

This is Mike O'Shea we're talking about. How many times in the past did he give a big F U to fans & media because he was stubborn? Until it actually happens, nothiung has changed.

That depends whether he is under contract for next year or not. If he is it is odd they haven't fired him before looking to interview other people. If he is not then there is nothing unprofessional about it at all. They need not make any statement on any coach on an expiring contract. Should they do it anyway though? I would if I were leading the organization...but that's just my opinion.
