I hope it's nice. I'm getting a nice treat that game. Was nominated for coach of the week. My club (Rods) get $500 donation and I'm getting a $100 GC to the Bomber store and get to go on the field for

They are both UDFA's in NFL camps right now.

Which bodes well for us...to bad they didnt have kiss of death CFL refugee on top if it...be sure bets to be cut

You think O'Shea is lying when he says Younger decides who is on the field on D?

He's the Head Coach. Absolutely he has last say.

yup....he also makes play calls...with who he wants on the field...if he didn't he wouldn't have the play card...head set...a coordinator will create the scheme and basic alignments...the NC more times thn not will confer and direct what he wants...or suggests...thats just how it works.

No C-Ord will get total control unless its a guy like Richie Hall or Lapo who have oodles of experience and trust

15 2025 STREVELER, Chris WPG 6 47 74 63.5 558 5 3 92.1 4.1 7.5
16 2025 COLLAROS, Zach WPG 5 90 124 72.6 1,031 7 8 89.1 6.5 8.3

Just outta curiosity....where our QB's rank in efficiency in the league...there only 5 guys below our guys...Looney tunes...Crum....Shiltz...Masoli and P.J Walker...not a very glowing picture...especially with one guy pulling in top dollar in the whoile league

ZC has an average pass a bit higher than Strev but his int percentage is higher.....ZC numbers are all based on 1st team reps...starting 5 games....game plan tailored to him for most part...all the starter prep

Strev 1 start...sporadic use from unexpected ZC being yanked from game....First start with all the prep ZC got was good...and very promising....so question is....with say 2...3 games as the starter..with all the prep that goes into it....an actual game plan created to play to his strengths and what he does well, does he progress and show legit ability....and would it be smart/worth the effort and allow ZC to sit and heal...get his head straight....whatever the issue is?

Use this opportunity to gauge what we have....where we at...who may give this offence the best chance to actually sustain some kind of momentum?.....discuss

One would absolutely expect Streveler's INT and even reception numbers to be worse than Collaros' stats due to lack of first-unit reps. That Streveler went to Stearns often and successfully last game was probably a reflection of them working out together as second-team  players. That Streveler did as well as he did in a losing cause is encouraging.

Sterns has started every game and been with the 1's basically since Day 1.

Also gotta take into account that when streveler has come in the last couple games it's been in a hole with things not working already. So how much is garbage time and how much is having to try and dig out of a hole (more risks, etc etc)

other than his start...he's been parachuted in less than ideal circumstances...as well as less than ideal conditions in T.O....I say give him control for at least 2..3 games....all the prep...reps....and then make a decision based on the culminative work of 4 ...5 starts...if he strung wins together....gave us a chance to win every game....then keep him rolling and let ZC be the backup......if not for anything will have him more prepared and comfortable for if he had to step in again later in the yr

Thats smart thinking, especially if Zac is still feeling some effect of his last Upper Body injury. Strev offers a number of intangibles which just might make this work. It also gives Zac time to get over his ailment and his head back to where it needs to be. Well worth a try cause sure as heck what weve done the last 3 games is not going to win many games going forward.

Take the ‘m’ off many, and I agree.

Also have to consider whoever our QB is that we have like 1 CFL receiver on the field and a bunch of guys.

So much to consider hahaha

OK...maybe two CFL receivers?

Be fair, they are all cfl receivers... just where's the top end guys.

One's in Hamilton, one is in NY, one is hurt and one is the last man standing.

Spent time on the Texans PR last year and was waived by the Vikings yesterday.

Thank god. Been worried about how we don't have enough LBers

Just a reminder that these are just Neg List notifications... Not signings....

OL Justin Mayers out of Colorado has been added to the PR. Went to Broncos mini-camp this year but got cut. Played Guard throughout his NCAA career.

Listed at 6'4", 320. Pure guard. Interesting add.

I feel like Elgersma ends up on the Green Bay PR.

I really don’t know about that. He’s not a feel good story down there like he would be up here. It costs them nothing to get rid of him and bring in another body they like better.

I hope so, but I don’t think he will.

I think his talent is top tier, but his polish needs a lot of work and time. Not a great investment for them unless they really love his intangibles and coaching/locker room fit.
That’s the best case for us imo. Have him in camp next year with a year of nfl coaching.
Other wise I’d alternate him n chase on the ir to keep both around.
