It's happened before. More than a few times.

Bombers won the GC in 1962 with an 11-5 record. In 63, missed the playoffs with a 7-9 record only to fall to 1-14-1 in 1964 (Yikes!!).

The BC Lions won the 1964 Grey Cup with a record of 11-2-3. In 1965, the Lions missed the playoffs with a record of 6-9-1.

The Calgary Stampeders won the GC in 1971 with a 9-6-1 record only to miss the playoffs the next season with a 6-10 record.

The Toronto Argonauts played in the 71 GC with a 10-4 record. In 1972, they missed the playoffs & finished with a record of 3-11.

There've been other collapses but you get the idea. Combination of bad decisions, age bad luck with the bounces going the other way for these teams & injuries to key personnel. Sorta like the way the season is going for us.

Hard to tell live at the game, but is Bennet playing decently?  I’ve noticed him with good penetration on a few plays.

I fondly remember the last couple years where we were up by at least 2 TDs at the half.  These close games suck gonads.

He’s soo quick and explosive how do you not put him on the field. Him and Cole in changes a lot.
