CFL Week 2 Games (Non-Bombers) Thread

Tonight, BC @ Calgary (Calgary -1.5)

Rourke starting per depth chart, for what that's worth.  Mike Reilly was limited in practice all week and is questionable to play, but is listed as the backup. For what that's worth.

Takeru Yamasaki remains at PK after missing two short field goals and a convert in the game the Lions lost by 4; the Lions do have import kicker Stefan Flintoff on their practice roster.

For the Stamps, Ka'deem Carey returns at starting tailback after a horrendous fourth quarter that sparked the Argo comeback last week.

Whoever books this stuff has Calgary favored by a measly 1.5 points, which seems kinda low to me, but I am not much of a gambler.

cfl.ca was 6-0 Stamps
MBB was 37-3 Stamps

Just like those tall brains above, I picked Calgary in the pickems, which means that Rourke will absolutely go off on them and the Lions will cruise 45-18.  I have a perfect record to preserve!

Adams seems to have matured as a pivot since 2019.  Als have talent at receiver but you gotta have a good QB. Happy for Khari.

Yeah will have to see if Adam's maturity is for real but he's good.

Edmonton kicker O'Neill has defoliated most of his facial shrubbery this year. Guess his mom got on his case.

Edmonton getting embarrassed

Kind of a weird situation- there are three CFL quarterbacks who are dinged up and yet all of them performed better than a healthy Harris has so far this season. Looks like Sewell was right.

Terry Jones former Edmonton Journal sports columnist tweeted yesterday that the CFL should permanently eliminate all pre season games. Seeing the quality of the offenses playing, I disagree.

put the backup in, harris is not in the zone.

hes not reslly throwing the ball, kind of pushing it

Sewell doesn't consider Harris a friend.

There are no beautiful looks of Edmonton

Ps Is also a critical part of developing and evaluating talent. Especially for developing qbs.

If any thing camp should be extended and 2 a days In pads done away with.

2 pre season games is the right number

wasnt elizondo a bomber coach at one point? o coordinator maybe.

I agree with your disagreement at the risk of being disagreeable.

I've often had a love hate relationship with the als back to when we were in the east. But man i like some of their guys and I'm happy af for khari.

that tackling by edmontond is etchy.

might be the earliest in a season that  a team has quit.
