I'm starting this thread as a side discussion of all things Corona Virus related. I understand that this is going to be discussed in almost all other topic threads but we could collect news and other items here. 

 

At work, many conferences have been cancelled.

NBA - Suspended.

NHL - About to be suspended. 

NCAA March Madness - Playing - no crowd. 

 

Political Rallies have been cancelled. 

Travel bans. 

 

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks tested positive. They're in Australia where testing is available. If they were in the US, they wouldn't have been tested.

Doctor had him at 6'3" didnt he?  And 239lbs?  Which is impossible.  It would defy physics.  He's probably 6'0" and about 320.   Its also why he wears awful clothes.  Rich guy like him, you'd think he'd wear custom made everything but his suits look off the rack, ill fitting, over-sized.  Too long ties etc.

Kay Ivey announced Thursday that statewide bans on large entertainment venues, athletic activities, and childcare facilities would end on Friday at 5 p.m.

In other words, one of the states with the most alarming COVID-19 dynamics in the country was plowing ahead with a uniquely brazen reopening.

My 7 year old daughter leans forward like that when she's gotta go pee... maybe he just always needs to take a leak.

If you are into body language, a forward lean is supposed to convey an aggressive stance. No doubt someone told Trump that he looks more powerful if he leans like that.

I read that he thinks only fat people need suits tailored so that's why he wears em off the rack. Dumbass doesn't even realize that a well fitting suit make absolutely anyone look good. As for the long ties, again the reason is simple, he thinks it's slimming. 

Guy is a fat whale and totally insecure about it. But then again what do we expect from a guy who eats that much fast food and thinks exercising drains you of your energy which is a set amount you get in life (yes that's apparently something he really believes)

 

Two new cases announced today.  Probably a positive sign with the increased gathering etc over the last little while.

As kids have not been isolating from other kids(at least on my street) this will be interesting.

 

Gotta hand it to Trump. He's actually killing off his base because they are too stupid to figure things out on their own. If there's a second wave, the country won't shut down, he vows. He advises to use hydroxycloroquine with no basis of fact it works on Covid 19 but has nasty side effects. Tries to blackmail Michigan dealing with the pandemic & a flood threatening to withhold federal funds during a dec;lared state of emergency & wants churches to reopen even in areas where the virus is still going strong.  There are no words to describe this man other than absolute contempt. No wonder the US is mixed up & being torn apart at the seams with this guy offering no hope of leadership.

I have second-hand info from someone in the medical field who knows someone involved in testing, so take this double hearsay for what it is worth, but I am led to believe that up to 11 people were being contacted some 3 days ago to be told they had tested positive, but no change in  the numbers yet from the government. I would have expected a spike with the reduced restrictions, long weekend and nice weather. We shall see.
