I'm starting this thread as a side discussion of all things Corona Virus related. I understand that this is going to be discussed in almost all other topic threads but we could collect news and other items here. 

 

At work, many conferences have been cancelled.

NBA - Suspended.

NHL - About to be suspended. 

NCAA March Madness - Playing - no crowd. 

 

Political Rallies have been cancelled. 

Travel bans. 

 

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks tested positive. They're in Australia where testing is available. If they were in the US, they wouldn't have been tested.

Trump's new plan is to promise a Vaccine in short order.  Just wait, I promise you at some point during the campaign he will say a vote for him is a vote for a vaccine and a normalized America.  Vote or Biden and it's social distancing and bad economy for five years.    Then should Trump win, he'd say "no one knew you couldnt make a vaccine in six months".

No new cases in Winnipeg since May 10. Either the number of asymptomatic spreaders walking around isn't as high as people say, or we are rocking this social distancing thing.

On the Garden Centre story, I mean, I am just happy things are opening up. If I have to wait to go inside, or stand six feet apart in a line so that I can shop at a store or a coffee shop or where ever, so be it. Not a big deal.Some people just are morons.
