GDT: Bombers at Stamps

Well, as I sit and look through the condo window in northeast Calgary, it's overcast. Forecast says Partly Cloudy, 30% chance of showers for this evening. High of 9 this afternoon but cooling off around game time.

McMahon is a graveyard for us but this Stamps team is as beatable as they've ever been. Today, missing Don Jackson and Tre Roberson, that much more so.

While the odds would suggest a season finish of Sask-Cgy-Wpg, why not throw a wrench into things and win out the season just for fun??

I’m going to ask you take a break from posting .. or I’ll look to give you a break. We get your point of view. You don’t need to repeat it ad naseum in every thread.

  • I can't believe I'm reading hate for Strev... Christ sakes. He was a warrior tonight. Needs a wheelbarrow to carry his balls in. Had some tough drops that didn't help. Curious to see how bad his ankle

Streveler can barely walk on the sidelines. How do you put him back in as head coach?

We are playing like garbage and Calgary likely stops giving us freebies.

then why is every replay of him trailing behind some guy running a crosser then diving at his legs ineffectively as he pulls away from him.

Because he's constantly peeling back from the line of scrimmage to make plays over the middle. Even when he's in coverage he's started on the line. He isn't a db but he's still the best mlber in the league and fast for a CFL mlber. It's useage. Stop watching the ball and watch the line and follow the play. Every one looks slow when you watch the ball

The 2nd half of that drive was hugely penalty aided.

Jefferson also needs to figure out how to get off a block.  Otherwise we should put him at MLB, at least he'll interrupt a couple passing lanes.

Now let's see if we can actually get a call. We're not allowed to touch their guys, but they're allowed to truck ours

The d stood up and the refs kept bailing out the stamps.

When holding is the way it is once an ol get his hands on you you're not getting direct pressure.

Rios needs to look back

Alexander needs to read faster.  He's mostly covering turf.  Calgary's early deep balls have put him on his heels.

yeah, if Rios had looked back, that would have been an easy int instead of a td.

bombers secondary always seems to have one guy who really isn't good enough

man picture is a little fuzzy

Can't just watch him ineffectively blitz or always be 2 steps behind someone

A nice clock crunching drive with a score and the ball to start the 2nd half would be a great result

"Now, now, there are Rider fans who are saying.."  Suitor isn't even pretending to be unbiased anymore.

I said to my son, take a shot here.... Bang!

It's awful but that's how we are back to using him. Look last year and he's a deep mid field zone on pass plays. Like the Mike in a Tampa 2 defense.

Lawler a big td

Starting to look like a football game.

Lapo genius!!!

Kyrie great tackle

I hate metric football players.

Litre weight 230 wilson flung him down easily

Lol would have never guessed QB draw there!

Ooooh boy....

I think Streveler is gonna be ok.
