Day Before GDT: Larks @ Bombers

We're in really bad shape if we haven't even talked about tomorrow's game yet.

The weather will certainly be interesting and it's Family Day. Too bad they keep scheduling Family Day in October, as it seems the weather can't hold out. My son was excited about the American Ninja Warrior style obstacle course but I don't think we'll be going to it now. Game time weather is now showing as 2 (feels like -3), mix of sun and clouds, wind 21N gusting to 33.

Ed Tait's 48-hour primer from yesterday.

Based on last game, I'd absolutely agree with that.  The interior line struggled in a big way and I second the Lucky sentiment.  The 'best' receiving corps we've trotted out all year (most succes

  • Our OL is nowhere near as strong with Neufeld and Desjarlais is still a weak link - don’t like sitting Gray at all...

I was pretty triggered. I had to go to my safe space and play with some playdough and drink a juice box.

Beat me to it.

Wait...I figured it out.  They can't dress him right away because they weren't planning to make a move for him in the first place.

Just wait until the rumour he is starting against Calgary....

Lapo trolls? We're not allowed to be critical of an offense that has scored 1 td and 19 points the past two weeks? How about pointing out issues that have been here for 4 years?

I agree.  Those imports and then you have Wolitarsky, Demski and Petermann platoon through the 2 spots.

Whitehead could only stay on if they trusted him to be the primary returner.  Thus far Grant is much better at that role.

How can all of us see that the receiving core we used in the Banjo Bowl is superior to the one we're using now but not our coaching staff?

Bailey played a hell of a game against the Riders and earned a spot in the lineup, especially over a guy like Whitehead who's absolutely useless in our O.

Has the question regarding Gray's "injury" been answered? I think since Neuf went in the interior hasn't been as strong.

His injury is nonexistent.

hey if we play a full 4 quarters of good offense I'll give Lapo credit for removing head from ass.

I was expecting a plan and not a panic button

Very informative - I didn't even know he owned a donkey.

Why would he?  He's basically had a cup of coffee since being acquired by Winnipeg.

I'm not sure they're going to give him anything hot to hold.  Too risky.

He should stay 15-20 feet back from the sidelines as well...... anything could happen when yer a bomber

Got to say, I feel absolutely no expectations going into tomorrow. Feels great. Bombers win and look amazing? Cool, good job I guess. Bombers get pumped for 50 at home? Yep, not surprised.

It's a really shitty feeling having no expectation, and no real emotion for the team. Must be like the average Calgary CFL fan.

Is it a parade of feeling bad? If so, yes.

Why would anybody here feel bad ?..... we don't make decisions that affect anything in the day to day operations of the team.  If anybody would be feeling bad at the end of the season because of how it all went down, I would expect it to be the team.

Just giving 17to85 a hard time. 😄

so then why feel good when we win? why watch?

Lose the juice box - it’s Friday night.

Lol..... watch for the entertainment.  Happy for the team if they win...... maybe razz a few friends..... then start over.

Despite the setbacks in recent weeks, I expect the Bombers to win tomorrow.  Home game, in snowy, windy conditions.  Run game should feature more prominently.  Vernon Adams shouldn't be able to run roughshod over the secondary...if they show up.  Keep the turnovers to 2 or less, create 2 or more turnovers, run for over 175 yards...those are my hopes for the Bombers.  Likely a low scoring game.  Bombers 26 Als 17.

C'mon Blue. Do it for your ol Uncle Zontar.
