I respect the fact that they gave Streveler a series but it drives me nuts that Lapo is so compelled to make every play so cute with him. He will never let him do a regular drop back. It’s all fakes in every direction. That’s effective in bursts but he’s set up to fail. 

Other than that, it was a fine enough half. 

that last series on D gives me hope...I'm not worried right now. But I definitely don't want to let them hang around till late in the 4th...

Can't help but think that if Reilly was behind center for the Blue, this game would have been over already. Streveler may not be the answer but Nichols is not dazzling us, either.

I don't understand the reasoning behind taking the ball at the 35 instead of forcing B.C. to kick from deep after the safety. Especially when B.C. is so damn scared of Grant. They might have been close to fg position after the kick.

Injuries really adding up

Only up 6 at half is real disappointing.  Should’ve been much better.

One thing in can tell you is Eli is really fired up to be in the lineup.  Dude is flying on and off the field... Getting a pile of high fives from the entire team.

The entire last minute by both teams was a great clip for a coaching clinic.  A lot of overthinking.

At first he was just coming in on jumbo packages but on the sack on Nichols he was playing left guard I think... could be wrong on that though

I understand that Streveler need to get some snaps. For sure give it when Nichols is struggling.

But Nichols is on rhythm and insertion of Streveler was a rhythm breaker.

BTW: Can you believe that BMO field is nearly sold out for tomorrow night? Free beer?
