GAME 6 | WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS (5-0) at HAMILTON TIGER-CATS (4-1)
THE 4-1-1
Kickoff: 6 p.m. CT Friday, Tim Hortons Field, Hamilton
TV: TSN, RDS, ESPN+
Radio: 680 CJOB
Vegas line: The Ticats are favoured by two points.
Home/Road: The Bombers are 2-0 on the road this year with wins in Vancouver and Ottawa. Winnipeg is 4-1 in its last five road games, the lone blemish a loss to Edmonton in the 2018 regular season finale in which a number of the team’s starters did not play or had limited reps. Hamilton, meanwhile, is a perfect 3-0 at home this season.
Recent history: The Bombers 5-0 start is the third best in franchise history. The 1960 squad opened with 10 consecutive victories en route to a 14-2 record while the 1939 Bombers rocketed to an 8-0 start, finished the regular season 10-2 and then defeated Ottawa to win the second of the franchise’s 10 Grey Cup championships. The Ticats, meanwhile, have opened with a 4-1 record in their first five games for the first time in 21 seasons.
Series: The Bombers are 64-55-0 all-time vs. Hamilton and 27-32-0 at Ivor Wynne Stadium/Tim Hortons Field.

  • I've seen the Bombers play some awful football over the years, so if they wanna blow out everyone the rest of the year, they can go right ahead. Somehow, I'll find a way to manage............

  • Stop whining about blowout victories. Immediately.

Nichols played a lousy game as he himself admitted on the post game. Lapo called a poor game. Turnovers killed us. Those two fumbles on returns cost us 6 points. Oline did not have a great game. Our D

Lawler again 🥴

I think all interception happened near Lawler.

So I tuned in for the first few minutes of the game and Hamilton gets 2 TD's .... I stop watching turn the game back on and just now Nichols lobs a terrible deep ball for an INT.   I am the one to blame!

Not playing Ottawa and Toronto anymore Matt.  What a joke.

We still blaming the D? 5 turnovers

So....give Streveler a few series?  Cant get worse...

Its not really. Hamilton isnt exactly marching the field.

Does this look like the Bomber defence is playing well against a second-string QB?

They had that one good drive though

You can blame Matt, and he deserves blame, but Lucky and Walker are as guilty

3 picks by Nichols plus a basic pick 6.. As well as Matt played last week, this is on him.

Just stop

Yes. Literally all the points they have since Evans entered the game are off brutal turnovers.

did walker fumble more than one kick?

Hamilton is obviously limited with Evans. Winnipeg just keeps giving them free points. Not going to win this one

5 Turnovers and down by 8. We have more Yards than hamilton

5 turnovers is the difference

The Bombers do not deserve a win here.

I knew this was going to be an ugly game.

man those ti-shats are really pushing the blue around. The Bombers are playing like a bunch of ******* *******...

Traditionally we play like crap in Hamilton most of the time, because Hamilton is a cesspool of a city, ranking just above Regina.

That said, we knew Matt would have a game at some point that was basically a bucket of sheet-stew, glad it's happening now and not the playoffs.

I was all for leaving Nichols in earlier when he was struggling, but I think he has passed the point of no return.

W Rose to the rescue

Winston rose is nice
