Can you actually physically block a kick and not touch the kicker? That seems nearly impossible.

Because the kick crossed the line of scrimmage and the Als player was not onside.  It's basically like any punt if it crosses the line of scrimmage even if it was tipped by the defending/returning team.

Montreal should get all their useless players to retire one by one week after week.

The on field product this year is absolutely trash. If I wasn’t so hooked on the CFL because being a fan has been ingrained in me over many many years, I’d hate it. 

That rule to protect the punter is horrendous. Soon enough, someone will just start kicking on the run and get tagged every time and his team will never lose the ball. What a dumb rule.

Maybe if they flub the snap, otherwise pretty impossible, and if that's the rule there's no way teams are going to try to block punts.
