Lions @ Stamps

Well, a lot riding on this game and neither team would be in good shape losing.  Definitely feels like the road would be harder for BC though with all the expectations they had.  Certainly they did bounce back from 0-5 in 2011, but that's a rare accomplishment and with a rookie HC, probably not something they're cut out to do.

It's looking a little better for Calgary though because they did intercept Dom Davis 4x their last game, and Reilly has also been throwing a ton of INTs this year.  Calgary's key to winning is simply capitalizing off those turnovers.

For BC, well you can't just keep going with this 1D offensive attack.  Coaches need to get together, get the run game going and tell Reilly he doesn't need to do it all himself all the time.  Mix up those shorter passes and draws and take the heat off him.

Anyway, I got Calgary by 14 in this one.

BC learning that Carter is a vacation receiver

Stamps D causes Reilly to fumble. Oooooooooooh whaaat a russshhhhhhh!

Yeah, that choking sound you heard was BC.

Calgary just always finds a way

Well that's a devastating early season loss both on the field and in the ticket window.

Ha, ha. Looks good on Chungh & Reilly.

If I was Claybrooks I'd keep my resume handy.

entertaining game.

CArter has not done much so far this season.

good game by the officials, and on the reviews. fast, and seemed good to me.

I will be pissed off if Calgary has found the next top CFL qb.

If BLM stays in, Calgary loses that game...

What's more embarrassing?

a) Choking away an 11-point lead

b) Having the comeback led by backup QB Arbuckle, who had 1 TD pass before this happened.

That's the difference between Matt Nichols and the elite QB's in the CFL. When you absolutely NEED a drive, whether it be to come from behind and win or to put away an opponent for good, the elite QB's do it. Matt Nichols does not.

You did not just seriously call Arbuckle an elite QB.  That was awful defensive scheming by BC at the end there with a little luck by the CGY special teams.

Rich Stubler should seriously retire now, cuz he's ******* lost it out there.

hhuff could probably just go to the nearest seven eleven, pick someone out,, staff or customer, and have him play qb.

Claybrooks needs to "get more involved" in the D.

Good, well coached teams slam the door with that lead and time left.

C) trading away three first-round picks for Arbuckle based on a very small sample size and then he shits the bed when he becomes a full-time starting quarterback *cough Saskatchewan already made an offer*

Claybrooks may have to take over playcalling.  But half the time he also looks lost on the sidelines.

I laughed at people just assuming BC was a strong team with a guaranteed stellar coach.

Nope

Claybrooks does not look like A Man With A Plan.

Arbuckle is legit. He will be a good starter in this league someday. He’s honestly probably already the fifth best QB in the league.

Nope

He should have brought a younger more innovative guy to call the shots on defense.  Stubler is a dinosaur whose defenses have been defective over the last few years and I'd say he's done now.

I'm just not drinking this Arbuckle coolaid when just about any QB can throw prayers up like that and see WRs come down against awful positioned DBs.
