Duane Forde mentioning that the Bombers should make a play for Ernest Jackson was the only intelligent comment made on Friday's broadcast.   If only...

I actually think we might make a move as well...Kyle has been to quiet and absent the past month or so...

I'd like to hear....'serious talks for Greene OR Jackson about to be culminated'...BUT we've been so damn quiet lately and Walters seems to have disappeared ,that I also won't be that surprised that we pass on addition that'll help down the stretch

I don't think it will be the bombers saying no.. I think other teams will. I just dont see it. Bauming suggested they are trying but isn't sure if other teams will agree.

Get Edwards or Green from the Argos.

We do have 2 first rd picks so... Not sure I'd give 1 up for a guy out there who is on Montreal or Toronto.. The only 2 teams officially eliminated

All but two teams are in the thick of it.  Also, the usual bargaining chips used by buyers at a trade deadline is prospects and/or draft picks.  While important, the CFL draft is not the immediate game changer of other leagues.  The other thing about professional football is that scheme and ratio-management are huge.  An MLB team picking up a starting pitcher or an NFL team picking up a second line centre can be plug and play.  There are very few situations that a player can arrive and contribute without an equal amount of disruption.

While fans love the idea of putting together a fantasy football team, the reality is much different.

With all the draft picks Walters has accumulated and all the ones Montreal have given away you'd think there would be something to be worked out there. Guy like Jackson could really help this team.

If you got Greene still has one year left on deal for $210000 but you could always release him before bonus is due.

I'd prefer Cunningham over Jackson....   I wouldn't want to give up much though for any of them though...

I seriously don't see anyone available that would make a huge difference to the bombers - not sure I want Jackson at 32 or SJ Green...  we already have Dressler

Maybe Stef Logan or Chris Rainey....?

I'm skeptical - don't see a deal out there...

Cunningham is hurt

What do we need at this point and who do we replace on our roster?

A big time receiver.

What big time receiver is available - honest question

Darvin Adams is having a better season than any of them.

But what if you end up getting a 3 dressed up as a 9?

It would be great to add one of them (or any other above avg receiver) so he could have an even better post season

Slim pickings on those rosters...

Montreal - I'd only look at Tevaughn Campbell or Sean Jamieson (as 6th OL)

Toronto - Armanti Edwards, if Laing is FA coming up - maybe could pry him out

But yeah aside from that - there's literally no one on those rosters that will make us better

What I’m thinking of is looking at an improvement for our third import spot.

Apparently Ottawa has picked up Chris Ackie from Montreal.

Hamilton signed Sinkfield as a returner/receiver
