Bombers can't expect to win if they are playing against the Lions, the refs and themselves... 

Nice of the refs to call the game tight all game until the end. 

Maybe just maybe MOS and his coaching staff aren't as smart as they think they are, as for Nichols to say his play tonight was bad would be an understatement, defence tried but in the end they couldn't stop a qb playing his first game in who knows how long.

Nichols needs to make a throw in half a game.  Brutal 2nd half for Lapolice.  Could not finish the couple drives they had and BC knew what was coming for th most part.

Loffler needs to make a tackle on 2nd and 12 draw plays and not launch himself at shoulder pad level of a running back twice.

Bombers seriously need to get a safety who isn’t a liability.

Does Nichols have a full 300 yards yet? Awful

Brutal 2nd half from Nichols and everybody not named Harris.  O points against a Mark Washington D.   Disgraceful.   The DUMB turnovers were just icing on the cake.

Burnham pushed off.  Regardless of how hard, that's normally a penalty.  

Bombers aren't good enough.  

 

Worst 2nd half of football in quite a while

I thought we overused our best player (Harris) in the 1st half....apparently we made up for it in the 2nd half by forgetting about him 

This game is on playcalling and Matt Nichols. 50 50 there. 

3 Ints.. Last one was the game changer.. 

Lapo because we came out running and lions had no answers for it.. Harris Demski.. Etc..  Then at half he decided lets go away from what was working and start throwing.. Nichols wasnt on today tho.. His worst game as a bomber? Should maybe put Streveler in More and just run the ball when it's working with him harris demski etc... Cuz if we come out in the 2nd half doing what we did in the first... This game is over... Lions couldn't stop the run.. 

Turnovers? 3 picks.. 2 goaline stands.. Lions had 4... So pretty even there. 

Lapo was dumb. If i was owner id strongly consider firing him at this moment... I likely wouldn't but IMO, what he called in the 2nd half is firing worthy

The D was good IMO. This one is 100 percent on the O and the awful 2nd half playcalling and play of Nichols. 

Nichols can’t throw deep from the pocket.  The league knows it. Lapo has to run a lot of misdirection to get Nichols the time and space to go long.  The misdirection stops and our passing game stops with it.

To be fair he put more trust in who is supposed to be our starting Qb and leader to make a throw. And he barely hit a wide open Adarius Bowman that one time. Guy is looking putrid

D took a lot of dumb penalties and gave up way too many second and longs.  But giving up 20 points should be an easy win and should have been tonight.  Bombers O easily left 20 points on the field if not more.

For sure. But to go away from what was working so well in Half 1 is just dumb

17 points in the 1st half that was fun the 2nd half was a horrors show, this team better not lose in Toronto next week

Lulay was basically chucking and ducking all game. You lower your head and someone is going to hit it. Thought a couple of those calls were straight bs

Not sure exactly if Oshea doesnt trust the coordinators a bit 2 much.. Its hard to say.. I know the 2 goal line stands but.. BC had 4 turnovers to our 5 so.. And 1 with no time left..IMO.. Tough to blame the coach for mental mistakes by our QB..

Yep, combine that with throwing picks and hard to overcome that kind of QB play.  He looked great in the first half though, made a lot of throws right on guys in coverage, several of them dropped.

To me it looked a lot like BC was reading keys in the plays we ran and were all over the routes in our passing game in the 2nd half. Doesn’t excuse the absolutely boneheaded decision to throw the ball right into that by Nichols on all the INTs.  Throw it away.  There was also no excuse for not running Harris or play action on every first down play.  BC was so worried about him and couldn’t stop him.  Playaction opened up a few plays but use it and the run way more.

Perhaps Oshea deserves some blame for leaving Nichols in and allowing Lapo to get away from the run but.. Trust.

Can touch his head and they know that.  It’s the rule.  Stupid to do it.  The Wild one was a bad call, other two were easy.

Thought the one on Jeffcoat was weak also.

Buono was first half O'Shea and O'Shea was second half Buono. They were both terrible. O'Shea wasn't smart enough to take points. It's a road game ffs. That's why I'm hanging this on O'Shea moreso
