May 14, 20187 yr My name is Bud Ross and I'm Alex Ross' grandfather. The competition for the QB backup slot at training camp will be intense. Here's a brief introduction of Alex with some history: As a freshman at Alpharetta High school, Alpharetta, Ga., he led the freshman team to an undefeated season. Coaching changes at Alpharetta, prompted him to transfer To Buford High School, Buford, Ga. Because of transfer rules, he couldn’t play varsity until his junior year. He led Buford to Georgia State championships his junior and senior years. He virtually owns the record book at Coastal Carolina University. He thinks, lives, and breathes football. Happy to be on board, Bud Ross

May 16, 20187 yr All the best of luck to your grandson. Word of advice, if he eats, lives and breathes football then he should hang really tight with Buck Pierce. There is a guy your grandson should emulate.

May 16, 20187 yr Just learn to read the backside blitz from someone else. I think Buck may still have PTSD from some of those backside hits.

May 17, 20187 yr Author The way I see it, The Blue Bombers have a QB powerhouse in the making. GO BLUE BOMBERS!
May 17, 20187 yr I'm very glad we picked up Ross. He has his first year and snaps in his back pocket already. This year, it seems likely he will receive the #2 reps in practice and continue in his development.
May 17, 20187 yr Here's to both Ross and Streveler developing into quality QBs. I've moved on from the Durant issue - just wish we could get the cap space back.
