I saw an interview with Doughty and he said that Vegas is maybe the hardest team to play against b/c they give full effort on every shift. That what building a team full of grinders will give you. Get

More experienced, that's for sure.

And I'm pretty sure he was a first round pick, FWIW.

Morrow is here for insurance...  Poolman level but he's LHD

Adding depth to the blue line is never a bad thing. And Cheveldayoff did so for a 4th rounder, which is pretty good.

At worst, he replaces Melchiori next season with the Moose...  at best, he regains form now that he's away from the tire fire known as the Montreal Canadiens

Almost feels like Vegas is a worse team after this trade deadline...

If anyone is watching TSN trade center... who is the goofy guy on the far right on the same panel as Jamie McLennan... kind of looks like Darren Dreger?

It's as if they were going all in for Karlsson, and when that didn't happen they got Tatar and went "our fans won't know the difference, right?

I don't know about TB being #1.  They did get 2 good pieces, but they gave up quite a bit too.  Namestnikov maybe wasn't considered a part of their core, but he was a pretty key player with 20 goals.

Have you seen who they still have as prospects? They have a boatload of depth. For me, TB won.

Perhaps not the best idea to tell players they may be moved RIGHT BEFORE your most important games of the season?!

31 year old with back problems?  If this is any team not trying to 3 peat, that's an awful deal.

Are you referring to Mike Johnson?

I thought it was Dreger after a facelift.

Morrow better than Poolman?

At LHD yes :)

Is he better then Chiarot, that's my q. 5 goals this season, same as Morrissey but in only 38 games.

Very true.

Im surprised by some fans on HF being upset with trading a first rounder.  This is what REAL contenders do, especially when they have a cupboard stocked full of youth and prospects.  Even if the Jets got swept out, its the right move to try and win a cup.  Jets are a legit Cup contender.  Man...that sounds good to say.  When was the last time...

1979 and the Aveco Cup? 1985 with Hawerchuck etc?
