Lets see if we can keep this thread a little more civil.

I found this interview very interesting.  A lot of soft balls thrown at Trump, he explained his back pedalling on his more extreme issues as a lot of his claims as opening bids for negotiation purposes.  Which .. whatever .. I still think that those are insincere claims he used to get elected.

He does now come across way more presidential then he did prior to the election.  A lot of his noise, yelling, and rhetoric has been scaled back.

I am at the point where I don't even flinch when Trump engages in this level of idiocy. I just ask "OK, what is he doing illegally behind the scenes today to fill his own pockets that he doesn't want anyone to know about, hence this ridiculous tweet so that we all focus on something shiny instead of the real story?"

One other thing about the reporter for Sputnik - that organization was directly linked to the Russian hacking efforts to undermine the 2016 U.S. election according to the FBI investigation.

What is pretty scary, is that cruising through comments on alt-right boards..... it is getting even harder to tell the difference between actual Russian disinformation bots, and just the deluded MAGA types
