  1. Yeah let's write him off after the first game at a prospects tournament. I'll bring the pitchforks if you bring the tar and feathers. Easy there pal, I just posted my opinion on what I saw. That's not writing him off. Did you watch the game?
  2. What a shambles of a game. they both looked crap. No fear of Ed, unless we play as bad as them.
  3. Hellybuck looks like Pavlec 2.0 Some nice saves then some soft goals. We have some good skilled kids, they should let them play on the Jets this year. Give them some seasoning. I'm thinking, let them develop in the NHL, give them a chance to play with pros. and give us a chance at McDavid. It would be worth it both ways. (Ehlers is scary good.)

  5. Really, so what's your definition of holding as it applies to the rule book and give specific examples of more holding calls on passing plays than running plays. What don't you enlighten me? You seem to know it all. Offensive line guru are you?Typically, holding is more likely to be called if the OLineman turns the defensive player. Holding on running plays is less likely because the blockers are stepping forward to initiate contact instead of with pass protection where they are typically stepping backward and responding to where the defenders are coming from. Also, in pass protection depending on the scheme they may have to maintain their blocks much longer. Anyway, to shoot holes in all the conspiracy theories the Riders have been called for holding more then any other team. And that would be because they hold more than any other team. My theory is it is from all the frickin whining that is going on! A theory. Facts are hard things. Facts are if they are called more then any other team why would they inexplicably stop calling penalties against them? If anything the Rider o-line would be under more scrutiny based on their previous record. But whatever. Keep making excuses. What excuses? They are the team most penalized for holding. That's a fact not an excuse. And don't support your supposed statement of fact with "if".
  6. No you don't. yes I do No you don't.
  7. Don't they have the interwebs were you live? There are lots of examples of cops shooting/killing people for nothing. maybe not in this case, but, C'mon Man! Whatever you do, don't search "police brutality" on YouTube... Cops aren't perfect, but some of them are just out and out assholes and should never be in a position of authority, especially with a gun.
  8. How in the hell does one of our best guys get hurt in a bloody practice? That's insane.

  11. LOL, never been to a REAL metropolis? Think New York, LA, Houston or for real vastness Mexico City. Thanks for the laugh!
  12. Tell me about it, I have to go there for six weeks in November. Maybe I should just quit my job. LOL!
  13. Actually most are okay with Sunseri. There is no replacing Durant but the Riders are a veteran team with a tonne of talent. Tino doesn't have to force anything. Is it really the case that "most are okay with Sunseri" or is it, You don't really have a choice other than to go with Sunseri. Well, we have no choice but most are confident that Tino will do "okay." He's not Darian but he'll do fine. I hope he does ok too. Because "ok" is not going to cut it down the stretch. I think the west has been re-configured with the loss of Durant, he's a top-notch qb and the green will certainly miss his leadership an ability. I hope he heals well and comes back to play next year. As crappy as his injury is, I think this actually helps the Bombers, lousy way to catch a break though...
  14. You should always be optimistic about your team's chances. We were optimistic about Dinwiddie's abilities in November of 2007. IT WAS 3 YARDS!!! RUN FORWARD!!! I'd rather pound my groin with a rock than remember that debacle. Ouch dammit!
  15. Speaking of fallacies, I never blamed the refs I simply stated the obvious. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your desire to argue ANY point. so then why are you arguing with me about the refs? Nope, not playing role reversal. I stated the officiating in the league this year has been abysmal. You took it from there, bud. Besides I am entitled to tell people when their opinions are wrong.

  17. IF you tackle the guy before he's already returned the ball to midfield the holding never has a chance to happen... When you let a returner get to the point where there's only one guy with a chance of stopping him you've failed in your coverage a long time before. That's absolutely true, but it doesn't mean there wasn't a hold and that it shouldn't have been called. yeah but when the coaches break down the film you think they will say to the team "OK it's not your fault, the refs just missed the holding"? What they're going to do are highlight the guys who didn't contain the returner initially because that's where the biggest mistake on the play came in. I really don't see how the 2 things are related. Of course the coaches will use the film to illustrate where the play broke down and point out the errors, so they can be corrected. That's their job and it's the players job to execute. Just like the refs blew a call that it is their job to make.... But I doubt they will be looking at film to see where they failed. Two seperate things: The Bombers failed to keep their lanes and make a tackle and the refs missed an obvious hold. The point is, that if you are play well and take care of your own play and don't make mistakes then the refs don't come into play at all. What planet are you on? I want to move there. Earth you should join me sometime, I'd be a lot less angry if more people lived in reality. If you lived in reality you'd recognize and acknowledge the incompetence of CFL officiating. Not sure it would help with your anger issues though...
  18. Why? What did Mack do to inspire your liking him?
  19. Help me understand, you're saying players call each other faggots all the time? I find that as hard to believe if you'd substituted the N word.
